OK, the law also covers the assault IF it occurs during the commission of a handful of federal crimes. It does NOT cover the assault if it is intended to just kill the fetus or the pregnant woman. Very limited circumstances.

 

I have a good memory Whaler. I remember the discussion very well even if you do not. I had noticed that you and Otter disagreed as to whether abortion should be acceptable for rape victims. Otter said it was unacceptable and you said it was. I even said I would love to see a debate between the two of you as to why you disagreed.

You misunderstood. I was saying that Pro-Lifers, are promoting murder (the death of young women) by wishing to make abortion illegal. Personally I do not care if a fetus can be considered by some to be a child or not. I would prefer to see a million fetuses aborted, to the untimely death of one young woman in an illegal abortion. I wish no woman would ever feel it was necessary to have an abortion, but, until such a time comes, abortions MUST be legal, there is no other sane, caring or loving option.
