    Where does it end?
OK, the Sandy Hook shooting never should have happened.
    It was bad.
News reported the wrong name for the shooter.
Then they reported that a bushmaster rifle was used in the shooting.
Then a few days later, NBC reported that they were told by law enforcement that 4 handguns were used inside the school and the Bushmaster rifle was in the car and not taken into the school.
    What was actually used?

A few days later the NRA comes out and says we should put armed guards in our schools.
    Some people didn’t like that.
Then we find out about some schools that already had armed guards and others were looking into it.
A school district in California had already purchased $14000 in Colt rifles (Assault Rifles)for their school security and had put their people through 40 hours of training on them. This was before Sandy Hook.

New York passed new laws with no grandfathering and no mags over 7 rds.
Now we find out they are still thinking about confiscation.
New York City put a limit on what size soda you can buy?

Diane Feinstein introduced her “Assault Weapons Ban “ yesterday. Look it up….
Anything on the list you cannot sell or transfer to family.
Over time this will disarm all law abiding citizens.

I’ll bet it won’t hurt the black market.
Gangs and drug dealers will have all the weapons (and no restrictions).
    They will be in control.

The Utah Sheriffs Assoc. says that they will fight Obama’s gun bans or die before they will take the rights away from the law abiding.
Other sheriffs around the country have said that they would not enforce new federal bans or confiscation.
    Where is all this going?
There has been mention of a civil war in this country.
    What is meant by this?

Where we are going if the anti gun folks get their way is total disarmement of the law abiding gun owner. The criminals will still have guns and we will be victims waiting to happen. The anti gunners seem to think the police will somehow disarm the criminals too so that we will live in a gun free society. What they wont acknowledge is that it would take years and years to confiscate all guns from criminals (if ever), because not all criminals get caught, and because of gun trafficking from Mexico.

Apart from that, People can build their own guns at home. I remember a while back a guy used a 3d printer to make parts to build his own .22 caliber AR type rifle. (If I am correct, will look)

    http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/07/30/3d_printed_assault_rifle/

    http://www.webpronews.com/3d-printed-gun-parts-are-being-removed-from-thingiverse-2012-12

There used to be "Boom Sticks"
(Looks like a stick, Shoots ammo)

    "Pipegun"

You can take the guns you leave the ammo at least one round someone will figure out how to shoot it.

No matter what the "anti-gunners' do, I can safely predict continued cliched comment from the pro-gunners.

May be a cliche, but also is true.

And the Queen is a lizard alien! The reality is straight forward: the search for more rational gun control given the empirical evidence into crime effects

It will end when the bleeding hearts in the county stop passing off opinion and emotion as facts and logic. That goes for both sides by the way.

Violence will never end it's been occurring long before there were even people on this continent.

There will be no civil war; the Utah Sheriffs Asscoc is not a law enforcement agency, rather just a group of law enforcement officials who lobby for casues near and dear to them. Its all hystertics mostly so don't lose too much sleep over it; just a phase that this country goes through ever 3- 40 years. The sun will set tonight and it will rise tomorrow and it'll be a new day.

With leftsists it's best to assume a worst case scenario since they won't ever stop their efforts to remold society. Leftists won't stop until all firearms have been confiscated from their lawful owners.

I don't know how many other ways it can be said before it sinks in. Actually I think you all get it, you just ignore it because you know it's true and the is no argument against it.

Nope. I just bother with the evidence. Historically the US has always had gun control. It also tightened following the 2nd amendment. At the same time we see the evidence into crime effects and therefore the damage created by 'too liberal' gun control
