    No, I don't believe I represent that premise. Corporate wheelers and dealers own both sides. I realize that. The right wing though, advocates EXCLUSIVELY for the richest of the rich, repeatedly, and consistently. They could give a rats azz about the poor. When they whine about Obama, and have nothing better to offer up, I see them as markedly worse. You're absolutely correct though. BOTH sides are owned, lock, stock and barrel by corporate America, and it's suffocating all of us.

    I understand that is your opinion of him especially because of the war, so as that made him an awful President inspite of the fact he did go to the UN, Hillary fully supported the war and said NO UN resolution was needed that we could go to war without it which she fully urged. So do go on record how you do not support her for President for the same reason you opposed Bush.

    Ahh we didn't lose 4000 American lives or 34,000 injured removing Saddam, our loses were relatively few. The losses came when al Qaeda and the Islamist moved the front of their war against us to Iraq where we thoroughly defeated them. It was a HUGE strategic error on their part to fight us where we had the advantage as opposed to Afghanistan where they have the advantage.

    The buck never stops at the Republican doorstep. I realize that. Bush was a horrendous President, and he damaged the country (and probably the world) than any in recent history. But, okay, try and spread the blame around. I get it.

    Sorry Bluesguy, but your reasoning is way off.

    Saddam was famous for killing al Qaeda, and any other threat to his supremacy. By taking him out, we opened the door, just like Dick Cheney predicted in several interviews back in the 90s. If we had not been there taking out Saddam, we would not have lost even ONE life. On top of that, the rest of the region would not have exploded in to idiotically named "Arab Spring". Iran would not be the major player in the region now.

    In fact, after 9-11, the Muslim world was totally enraged about the attack. UBL's brother went home in disgust, and di an interview on some network saying he would no longer follow his brother. At that time, al Qaeda was unable to recruit even the dumbest, most brain damaged idiots.

    Then, President Cheney attacked Iraq, which was seen by many in the region as an unprovoked attack on a sovereign Muslim nation. UBL must have dropped to his knees and said "Thank you, Allah for sending George Bush to save me." The attack on Iraq CAUSED the remainder of the war. Dick Cheney predicted that too.

    So, yes. The 4000 dead and the 34,000 wounded are directly attributable to the Bush administration, and I want to see some apologies from those who so blindly followed, and those still making lame excuses for that fault.

    Obama is WAYY behind in the killing of Americans. So Man up, and take some responsibility.

    'It was a HUGE strategic error' to invade a country, and take the nation to war, based on LIES, too.

    Actually is was proper and called for strategic act which not only removed the threat Saddam posed, as Hillary Clinton clearly stated, we were able to defeat al Qaeda and cost them greatly when they brought their war against us there. Why would have preferred a stronger Afghan al Qaeda to fight where they have the strategic advantage rather than in Iraq where we did?

    Since you claim Hillary lied us into war, let's hear you go on record that you will oppose her for President since she would be likely to do it again?

    Actually the right is the only side that advocates for both for the betterment of the country as opposed to the left which wants to increase the dependency of more people on government for their own political gain.

    The carrying out of the ILA which made Saddam's removal our official policy was exactly the reason he gave us and the same ones Hillary gave us except she was willing to go ahead without the UN.

    She was a very powerful Senator who led the fight to get the authorization to use military force passed in the Senate. So let's hear you go on record that you will oppose her for President.

    Well cash comes from jobs I guess and not being dependent on government and living a higher standard of living. Why do you oppose such things?

    Keep passing that buck, bro.

    Hey, in the meantime though, maybe some folks can find some informative reading about our most famous 'liar-in-chief' here:

    This is an impossible question to answer. If a dishonest President does not get found out, we would never know. If an honest President has enough mud thrown at him, and the perpetrators are not found out, then, again, we would never know.

    Now, if you had asked about which President has been ACCUSED of being dishonest, then that is easy. Obama. Followed by Bush. The ugly politics of the far right and the hard left have been repeatedly screeched at us from both sides.

    But in both cases, we need to remember the words Of Napoleon. ""Never attribute to malice that which can easily be explained by incompetance". In other words, they are bad men. They are just not very good at being President.

    And in that case, they are in a dead heat for being the two biggest ****ups we have ever had in office.

    You can fill in the **** with any word you like.

    I have lived long enough to have voted for a great number of Presidential candidates.
    In order, they were:
    * Jimmy Carter (D)
    * Ronald Reagan (R)
    * G H W Bush (R)
    * Bill Clinton (D)
    * H Ross Perot (I)
    * G W Bush (R)
    * Barack Obama (D)
    * Mitt Romney (R)

    My tally of voting inclinations reveals a fairly objective mix;
    I voted Democrat 3 times, Republican 4 times, and Independent once.

    I can say with all objectivity that by any reasonable or quantifiable metric, Barack Obama (D) will go down in history as the most blatantly dishonest US President ever. The list of his documented, willing, deliberate lies is staggering, and it grows larger by the day.

    Richard Nixon (R) follows in second place.

    Lyndon B Johnson (D) is a close third.

    Bill Clinton is probably in the top five.

    I have a hard time putting GW Bush in the top ten, since the one single thing I have ever heard anybody accuse him of (re; dishonesty) was fomenting a war in the middle east based upon a blatant lie about WMD's in Iraq.
    Since the intelligence he received on those WMD's was the same as the intelligence that the entire US Congress recieved, and most of THEM voted to go to war, I find it difficult to categorize that as a lie.
    If the intel was faulty, then it was faulty.
    If it was TRUE, and those WMD's were moved to Syria, for instance, that is another thing altogether.
    In the end, I don't really believe the man lied.
    I feel strongly that he believed the intel he was briefed on.
    If he fooked-up, then he fooked-up, but I don't believe he was dishonest about it.

    Off the topic, sort of;
    Of the Presidents I would categorize as the most HONEST, in my personal observation, and based upon my study of US Presidents in history, I would have to say that they are, in order:
    * Harry S Truman (D)
    * Jimmy Carter (D)
    and
    * James K Polk (D)

    Thank you for your time and attention to this rather lengthy response.

    - - - Updated - - -

    PS I missed at least one election (maybe two) due to Army deployments and travels, and I must confess that when I voted for Barack Obama, it was in the (D) Primary Election in 2008, and then only so that Hillary Clinton would not make it to the General Election that year. In the end, I regret the bad karma of ever throwing a switch for that egregiously dishonest fool.

    Touched a nerve, I guess. About 620 thousand mostly American soldiers, lost their lives; an untold number, I'm sure later died from disfigurements and diseases acquired during the war. God knows how many civilians, mostly Southerners lost their lives during Sherman's march to the sea, and the other civilians raped, plundered and murdered, so a million was on the short side, I'm thinking. If you don't wish to think on him as a liar, that is your call. I see the bastard differently.

    Just to be clear, Shooterman;

    You are saying that Lincoln CAUSED, and is solely responsible for the Civil War?

    Really??

    I see it all differently, southern states abandoned the constitution and tried to form their own country. Lincoln said oh hell no, and forcefully brought the country back into one union. I would say those southern states would be to blame for the civil war
