The electoral college is part of the US democratic system. It's not a bug, it's a feature. And it served it's purpose in the 2016 election. However I never said or implied anything about "a POTUS can't be made accountable for his conduct." Your assertion that I was saying that is...just plain silly.
Then why did you quote me? I never accused Trump of treason and have pointed out on more than one occasion that even if he had colluded with Russia it wouldn't have been treason.
Q-Anon was interesting to read at first, but it sounded hilariously crazy! But more and more of what he/she says it coming true, it is clearly apparant that we are in a war against the Deep State, lead by people in the CIA. We are in a war. https://www.scribd.com/document/427618359/Shokin-Statement We know KNOW FOR A FACT that George Soros and Clinton Foundation funding launched the Maiden coup in Ukraine, all to get rid of a Russian supported government. This is LITERALLY the reason that Putin "all the sudden" became the bad guy to Progressives/Communists. We also know that the information above was attempted to be given to the United States DOJ in 2018, WHICH THEY REFUSED THE INFORMATION Why? Oh right, the Deep State, the same people who have been blocking Tom Fitton and Judicial Watch from investigating these corrupt people. The only defense Progressives/Communists have against this is to try to say: "But its Donald Trump's DOJ!!!" So wait, Trump's DOJ, who won't investigate the things he wants ..... is his fault? Yeah nice narrative you got there! It is coming down all around them, impeachment is LITERALLY the only thing they have left. This is the Globalist last stand.... If they don't take down Trump here (which they won't), the information now coming out from the President of Ukraine and now the President of Italy, are going to completely destroy the Globalist/Progressive/Communist movement. My favorite is the Patrick Byrne statement "I know enough to burn the Deep State to ashes." WWG1WWA
Yup, old Donald is in a bit of trouble alright. It's kind of interesting in an amusing sort of way to watch the hard-core Trumpers trying to deflect, wiggle and squirm their way out of the truth. I think even the WH insiders realize how damning this is or why would they have tried so hard to bury the phone calls in hidden servers? After all the attacks and TDS accusations, watching them twist themselves into Pretzels trying to get around this is pretty rich. Giuliani is hilarious. I don't watch CNN except for quick headlines but I could watch the interview with Cuomo over and over.
I suppose. But you were the one who stated removing Trump was a threat to democracy despite the abuse of power and the evidence of obstruction from the MR. Just trying to add some context. Personally as much as I support impeachment, I think there would be more legitimacy if he were removed from office through electoral means. Then the most fanatical of his supporters would have nothing to bitch and whine about. Having Trump in office is far more of a threat than removing him. I'll leave it at that if this is derailing the thread.
No I didn't state "removing Trump was a threat to democracy." Sometimes it seems about half of the replies I get are about things I never said.
Sorry if I misquoted you. Here is the quote I was replying to: I read the intent of the quote and tried to add my own opinion about the state of damage to democracy. Nuff said.
He’s also a transvestite who molests children.boy does trump k ow his base treason? Do you even understand the word? If anyone has committed treason it’s your lard ass in the White House
Tru,p supporters are living up to what trump knew. They don’t educate themselves and say silly things like we’re making **** up when we see his tweets and hear his stupid words. Everything is fake news to them except for Trump tells them to believe. He has lied over 10,000 times and they have been verified and scrutinized but his uneducated base yell fake news fake news Which is exactly what Trump counted on
I already have. Removing someone as unqualified and undignified as Trump from office trifles in comparison with the damage already done to your democracy by years of criminality and abuse of power from politicians across the board starting in modern times with GHW Bush and Clinton right up to today. Removing Trump from office might be the first step in restoring what is left of American democracy as he is dismantling what remains with lies and attacks on democratic institutions he is sworn to uphold like the free press and legitimacy of the executive branch both domestically and in foreign affairs. That being said, I think there is a palace coup underway and removing him could be as dangerous as leaving him in office. The point is that democracy in America is already on it's deathbed and has been ailing for many many years. That is it in a nutshell.
Abuse of power is looking into biden corruption . Yet you want to elect the corrupt Biden as POTUS. Now thats rich.
I just love Renee's posts......so high IQ. I posted the statutory definition of the word and she says "do you even understand the word". Do you know what a statute is? Hint, it's not a statue.
Can you provide a shred of evidence of Biden corruption? Evidence I mean. Not that I like him as a candidate but to accuse of corruption without a shred of evidence is very.......well,.....Trumpian.
And how about the Trump staffers that fed him the information? Pretty soon it will just be Spankie and Ivanka running the place.
Biden investigation was shut down due to lack of any evidence. Long before Joe got involved Darn facts again making you look silly and ignorant of the details
The Dems have ****ed up https://thefederalist.com/2019/09/2...rement-of-first-hand-whistleblower-knowledge/
There was no Biden corruption. Interesting that there is so much corruption with Trump but yet you wanna let that go. How dishonest I think you are being
Neither Australia, the UK, Canada or the US has a 'popular vote' system. In all these countries there has been cases of the leader losing the popular vote but winning the election. The US system is based on the British system, with the same 'quirk', as were these other countries mentioned. I'm often surprised how many Aussies, Canadians, Brits and others don't know and recognize this.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1961_Australian_federal_election
