White House ‘Weighing Broad Gun Control’

The militia is every able-bodied male in this country between 18-45. It was supposed to be used instead of a large standing army. I believe it still should be that would, prevent us from policing the world and let us just defend our own country. The Navy, Air Force, and special forces and command structure would still have to be maintained for modern warfare. The millita could only be legally activated by congress or the individual states in times it is needed. The paramilitary groups most consider the millita our not they are actually illegal in almost every state.

No I do not trust the government to protect anything but themselves. They kill civilians routinely in many areas of the world. The fight a war against drugs on its own citizens and turns central and south America into a war zone. The police steal property and arrest citizens for violating government moral values. We have more people in prison than even China with less than half their population. One reason we can not enforce gun-laws already on the book is we have no where to put the criminals now.

The millita would also be very useful in a major disaster when other resources were overwelmed.

 

Guns are purchased for many reasons, sport, hunting, protection. Thankfully this woman had a gun, which as we all know if you had your way she wouldn't have.

If you are saying that easy access to assault weapons and guns had nothing to do with the Newtown Massacre of 20 1st graders and 6 teachers then you are living in a dangerous hinterland of denial.

1) I thought guns were for 'hunting'...I guess they could be used by white supremacists in killing government agents as well...

2) you would actually allow a government agent to kill your kids before you relinquished your 'hunting gun'?? ...and allowing your children to be killed would be directly on YOUR head and no one elses.

3) The government agent was only doing his job; the blood would be on your hands only.

A rational person would relinquish the guns, then sue to get them back. An irrational person is usually a white supremacist who when he gives up his guns, his ballz fall off!....

The colonial 'militia' which was loosely formed in the 1700's to protect the colonialists from the British in the realization that they had no army was prudent at that point in time.

Today we have an Army, National Guard, Navy and Marines to protect us.

One question: In Newtown massacre, Aurora Colorado theatre massacre, college campuses, and any city weekend shootout, where were the NRA 'militia' to stop the carnage?

1. Stage shooting.
2, Propagandize on how awful it is and how we need to do something about it.
3. Start confiscating weapons.
4. When enough are helpless, bring in the US supported Al CIAda terrorists we used on Yugslavia, Russia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria.
