The White House on Wednesday took a shot at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by using a cartoon bomb to defend its nuclear deal with Iran.
The bomb diagram attached to a White House tweet looked a lot like a chart used by Netanyahu during a 2012 speech to the United Nations General Assembly urging the U.S. and other world powers to set an ultimatum to stop Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.

 

Obama basically sold out and insulted one of our greatest allies for a deal that is not even going to succeed. It is dead before it even got past the "framework" phase. Epic Fail.

 

This is despicable by the Obama administration. We are the only real friend Israel has and Obama feels its okay to mock her?

 

Maybe there's a reason no one else wants to hang out with Netanyahu. Maybe it's because as the man is as arrogantly annoying as a telemarketer who keeps calling to shout at you. If he valued his "friendship" with the US, he'd show more respect to its leaders.

 

How is Israel ever going to trust the United States again knowing that we could elect another Liberal idiot right around the corner?

An eagle on a gravestone is offensive? That's the symbol of our country and that is a military cemetery. As a veteran I found it quite appropriate for my avatar. If it offends you, well I can't tell you what I think, on this forum, without breaking the rules.

 

Israel has all the right to question the Iran talks. Iran has beefing calling for the destruction of Israel from the face of the earth. If someone threaten you and your family and the police are giving them a get out of jail card you might question it too.

 

No nation should work terribly hard 'earning' the trust of Israel or its current leader. The concept is too foreign for either to grasp. Israel's trust is not worth a pregnant pause in a sentence. It is a foreign government aligned solely to its own cynical agenda and we should treat it precisely with the same decorum and 'respect' as we do any other country in that region.

I was clearly referring to the picture posted in the thread by you 20 minutes ago that puts some unnecessary stereotypes on the dictator-in-chief.

What stereotypes? That he's a whiny crybaby? That's not a stereotype that's what he specifically is. I agree it's offensive our President is a petulant whiny crybaby, but I didn't vote for him.

 

Not surprising as it was event from the start of his presidency that he didn't plan to support Israel and didn't respect its prime minister. IMO that is because of his Religious background and upbringing.

 

I'm not a liberal, just a good old fashioned conservative who believes in the saying "politics ends at the water's edge" and showing some deference to authority. Not a fan of Obama but Netanyahu is not doing the Israeli cause any favours.

The "Israeli cause" is for Iran not to obtain a nuclear weapon. That should be our cause too but the Idiot In Chief has other plans.
