White House Requested USS John McCain Be ‘Out of Sight’ During Trump’s Japan Visit

What I like to see in a President is leadership, gravitas, statesmanship, and all the qualities that Donald Trump lacks. Nothing underlines that idea more than this epic pettiness by a president whose ego is so frail, his dislike of John McCain was so great, he didn't want the USS John McCain anywhere near his vision and that of cameras during his visit to Japan.

Such a frail ego with his fingers on the nuke football? I think not. We do not need four more years of this man who is clearly unfit for the office.

Now, of course, there are some in the peanut gallery who are going to argue that Trump had nothing to do with this. Even if that is true, which I sincerely doubt, but if it is, why are underlings doing this? Obviously, because of Trump's petty rants against McCain. No matter how you slice it, it adds up to a frail ego because only a frail ego would diss John McCain, who has a US Naval ship named after him and The Donald doesn't.

And yes, it's a slow news day, but so what?

 

Trump's pettiness demonstrates that for four years we had a 5 year old as President. However, one wishes this were the WORST of the Trump presidency. Instead of all his criminal activity, his abuse of power and his ongoing attempt to become the country's dictator.
