The Bidens received a pure-bred German shepherd Monday as a birthday gift from the president's brother James Biden and sister-in-law Sara Biden, according to first lady Jill Biden's office. The dog, which was born on Sept. 1, will go by the name Commander.

....Major has been a source of controversy for the White House after being involved in several biting incidents since Biden took office in January, including a string of eight days in a row in which Major bit a Secret Service agent. At least one White House visitor was also bitten by Major, in March, with White House press secretary Jen Psaki saying the dog "was surprised by an unfamiliar person and reacted in a way that resulted in a minor injury to the individual."

Generally when a sitcom is failing the writers will introduce a baby or pet to improve ratings.

This is all about Biden trying to counter the disastrous situation his party is in. They are also getting a cat.

Also, that incident where Biden broke his foot "playing" with his dog...turns out Biden had just stepped out of the shower and snuck up behind the dog and pulled its tail.

    This is all so cringe.

Re-homed? What the F is this ****? When you take on a pet it becomes a life long commitment and part of the family. This is just another low life scumbag move by the POS who won’t even recognize his own granddaughter, and he’s supposed to age about us?

Yup the only people he's abandoned quicker than his dog are his grand daughter and the Americans still stuck in Afghanistan.

If a dog is too much to handle then what about China, Russia, the nurse doing his diaper change?

    All he does is lose.

And German Sheppard pups are high energy, there's no way Brandon is going to do that.

Shepard’s are great dogs, excellent protectors of the family, insanely loyal. They can’t be bought with idiotic paintings and china’s money.

It would be ironic if Brandon's old dog was an Afghan.

And it's name was Karl Barx.

It’s not every day a president walks away from an animal who is totally loyal and reliant on him. Where is the liberal outrage?

Brandon’s new dog wasn’t a Pekingese. China is pissed, they want to know what they paid Brandon for.

I had a neighbor that had a pit bull that previously lived on a 5 acre farm. The dog was having the same problem, like jumping the fence and chasing some poor blighter down the street. He was smart enough to get the dog professionally trained. If Joe didn't have the money he could have always hit up Hunter for a loan.

Biden has millions of Chinese dollars which could have been used to hire a trainer. He went the cheap route, relying on CNN to convince the dog what to think, but dogs don’t watch CNN.

An aggressive dog would no longer have a life otherwise.
Nothing wrong with finding a new home for a pet when needed. Some abandon them or just have them put down.

Anyone who has owned "biting breed" dogs understands that Major's behavior issues are likely an attempt by Major to assert Alpha status.

Biden could not establish Alpha status with his dog, yet he is President of the US? What is wrong with this picture?

So Biden is too cheap to hire a trainer? We already know he donates virtually nothing to charity, so why would he pay to make his dog’s life better? Biden is the world’s most powerful man, or at least his handlers are, and he can’t deal with a dog?
