I don't know much about how to be married, but after reading through all the posts here, you all are describing some fairy tale. Is marriage like a fairy tale? I would like to add that in my observation, in western societies marriage is like a dream, it comes and goes. And in eastern societies marriage is a life status, nobody imagines to live without it. I am western and I am a male, but still, aren't you all giving the wrong attitude here? Or, how do you manage your entire future life with the increasing likelihood of living alone, lonely? Looks like we can't bank on love, but we can bank on loneliness. Is it a fair statement that marriage is a survival mechanism? Like taking the "annuity" rather than reinvesting the profits into more trades? So, what do you think of this: those people who are very social don't do well with marriages, but those who are introverted do well in marriages?
