Well good for you. So my opinion is gay marriage does not equate to yours.....yet you promote that it does. I am against it. I'm entitled to that.

Read the OP again.....I am against calling it marriage. It could have been a "civil union" or something else. Words have meaning. The left knows that. They like to confuse the children.

Then why did your kind fight so hard against — and successfully ban — civil unions?
Children are not the confused by the concept of legal marriage.

My kind? You mean heterosexual Christian Americans? I did not fight against civil unions. A partnership in a corporation is a civil union. Any two or more citizens can have that and they always have been able to do that. Don't lie. Contracts are made all the time. Just like Your Kind does what it does all the time. It's not marriage and I am against it.

I am just secure enough in myself and my beliefs to be able to admit when I am wrong and don't have to run from the points I have made because they are based on feelings or superstition. You should try it sometimes.

There is no law against two individuals entering into a contract for any reason or for any condition. You just draw up the terms, have legal council to see that it is fair for each individual, and you have a contract! Nor shall this Commonwealth or its political subdivisions create or recognize another union, partnership, or other legal status to which is assigned the rights, benefits, obligations, qualities, or effects of marriage.[79]

That is just 3 of the dozens of laws that were passed. Your lies are lies no matter how many times you repeat them. I hope you are not teaching this character trait to your impressionable grandchildren.

Your religious beliefs are based on what you were indoctrinated with most likely. If you were born in Iran they would likely be different. Same for India. It isn’t special.

What do you not understand about shall not recognize another union, partnership, or other legal status to which is assigned the rights, benefits, obligations, qualities, or effects of marriage.

 

So you didn’t believe people were deserving of equal rights under the law until 25? What do you believe changed your views?
