Why aren’t trumpers angry?

I don't agree with this rule, but it exists and this thread is likely to be shut down for the infraction.

 

Correct. The referendums they keep voting on are non-binding. IMO, the questions confuse most people here and in the end all parties claim they won. The party who is in favor of statehood has conditions. They want to continue speaking Spanish, have their own olympic team and vote for the US president without paying federal personal income tax.

Even without the storm, the infrastructure and financial situation in Puerto Rico was extremely dire. At least with the storm, it could have given the island a fresh start. They have the people, they can get building material and supply, they just need leadership and the will to get it done. Leadership on the island is corrupt and good for nothing.

 

Oh? So Reagan, Ike, and Lincoln have been claimed as "RINOs"? Cause all of them have been tried to be called "liberals" in todays standards by the left.

Trumpers aren't angry because they do not limit themselves to watching the propaganda and lies that are designed to make them angry.... like you apparently do. Some of them are, instead, watching the propaganda and lies that are designed to make them believe everything is OK.

The trick, for those of us (the majority) who seek truth rather than to have their biases confirmed, is to know the difference.

My how standards have fallen.

 

I lived in Puerto Rico for 4 years (Luquillo, Arecibo, Hato Rey) and I was there for Hurricane Hugo which was only a category 3 hurricane and the island was devastated and only 12 people died. Part of the problem down there is they get a lot of hurricane warnings but the storm always turns off in another direction so the people have come to believe that any hurricane heading their way will eventually turn. Hurricane Maria was one of the worst storms on record and if anyone has ever lived in Puerto Rico they'd immediately know they aren't capable of withstanding such storms.

Hurrican Huge turned a green island brown. Telephone poles and satellite dishes were blown away never to be seen again, houses were destroyed often with people inside. With a more powerful storm such as Maria the damage would be expected to be more severe, and with the way the government works down there I'm surprised the death toll wasn't higher. This is an island which allowed a hotel ballroom's doors to open inward and when a worker's union set fire to the hotel all the people in the ballroom rushed to the doors they wouldn't open and they died.

Blaming Trump for Puerto Rico's corruption, incompetence and mismanagement is just ignorant.

The left's hatred, insults and unjust criticism of Trump more than makes up for whatever tolerance we have for him. Tolerance - it's a word you guys like to use but never practice.

When the Democrats vote Republican and the deep state government's "insurance policy" is canceled by a Red Wave, then I can get angry at Trump.

 

Since I am neighter far right nor far left I get a kick out of the two extremes as they enjoy accusing each other of intolerance.

What is tolerance? Do you believe that tolerence is agreement with the beliefs or behavior of others?

If so that is not my definition?

For me tolerance is a live and let live existence. I am tolerant of other religions but I do not have to accept the beliefs or behaviors of others.
Example I believe that gays have a right to be gay and behave that way.
I do not agree with their lifestyle and I should not be made to agree with it.

The same goes for Trump. I am tolerant of his right to say what he says to believe what he believes but I have the right to disagree with him.
My disagreement with Trump or with gays does not make me intolerant of either of them.

I would like to hear from some liberals leftists and other on the right as to their definition of tolerance. Some examples would be good.
