Why do criminals in other countries obey gun laws?

1. A background check is given every time you renew your license
2. All cars for use in the public need to be registered
3. All cars require built in safety devices

6. EVERY owner would need to have a license.

Works for me. The individual would not only have to have insurance but would have to pay yearly registration fees and have their gun inspected

 

You also would not need a license to buy a gun, own a gun, keep it in your house, transport it on public property, or use it on private property.
The anti-gun side proudly professes a desire to treat guns like cars, until someone makes the points found here.

Every firearm sold in the US meets the required level of safety. Nothing in a car prevents accidents, suicides or homicides with one.

Not true, they never check for outstanding warrants of any kind, traffic or criminal, on renewal of a Driver's license, that only happens when you get pulled over while driving.

They will issue a Driver's license regardless.
