Well....if the birds with the prettiest feathers get laid more often their Genetic Traits get passed along more so than birds with dull feathers. AboveAlpha
yes, but pretty feathers is not a functionally advantageous trait. Its just prettier. doesn't help the bird hunt or survive the winter. that's my point. not all traits that are passed on by Evolution, are functionally advantageous ones.
Well....it has been found that bright feathers....colorful fur...straight tails for Lemurs...all denotes proper nutrician and other favorable genetic traits that a female of the species recognizes as beneficial to offspring. AboveAlpha
the Bible doesn't mention homo sapiens migrating into Africa, tens of thousands of years ago. The Bible isn't a book of science or anthropology.
The bit where Yah created man, in the garden of Eden. That would be the fertile crescent, the location was said to be east of that. That would indicate Sumeria and given that Sumeria is arguably the oldest civilization it would be that, either that or Ancient Kemet. Seems as though Genesis leans toward Sumeria though.
Oh....I see. Thing is I thought in meant God made a man out of mud in a garden where three rivers met, decided he should get "Busy with a Woman" and made a snake just to mess with him. Never read the par about any men before him that wandered around till they got there.
Well even if you are, it does not work out for you. 3 of the 5 civilization that rose, came into being with no input or influence from Africa.
I would think the best example of recent evolution would be the spread of lactose tolerance. The Most Spectacular Mutation in Recent Human History
Okay but: This hypothesis flies completely in the face of his claim that early human migrated from Africa in the Bible(s)...and is found nowhere within them.
Why do individual white people read the Bible? For the same reason anyone does. It gives them their life a purpose: to get into heaven. What was the historical chain that led to lots of white people reading the Bible? The Romans adopted Christianity and spread it around the world, particularly to Western Europe, which then exported this tradition to the Americas and Australia.
I will choke back the name-calling. Have you ever gone into a majority-black area? If so, did you bother to open your eyes and see the Christian churches just about everywhere you look?
Nice answer, however, it seems that they are willing to step on the very ppl's heads who were already there. - - - Updated - - - Yes, whats your point?
Its pretty racist to suggest that white people have no business reading the Bible. Its like saying black people have no business speaking English.
There are plenty of beliefs that Christians believe that are not in the Bible. Such as Christmas and Easter, to name a couple.
