Perhaps if that comment thoroughly, effectively and maturely laid out the reasons for not supporting the agenda, it would be accepted as something other than 'hate'. As it is, Trump has only used name calling and what some of us see as a dog whistle to his supporters.

And you are entitled to your partisan perspective, and to being wee wee'd up by Trump's calculation that singling out four non-white, female Congresswomen for his hysterical harangues is his best strategy for re-election. He is directing his emotional pep talks at a particular strain of susceptible bitter, old white dudes.

Certainly the enthusiasm he elicits from his devoted neo-nazis and white supremacists who hail him as their "God Emperor!" and "Glorious Leader!" is not limited to that ilk, but I seriously doubt that it extends very far into the inclusive diversity of patriotic Americans.

His youth rallies' chants of "Send her back! Send her back!" concerning an American citizen of differing political ideology, as evocative of the heyday of xenophobic nationalism as they are, do not reflect America.

Curious why the left is so obsessed with skin color? There is a word for that.

The epic fail is by people who excuse Trump by what Obama did or did not do? They are saying they can't be better people.

People, understand this: gently and politely, we will not let you take us back to the 1950s.

That is never going to happen.

Because that was why Obama was chosen.A Liberal Black who
attended Harvard and was a trainer for Community Activism { training
ACORN in Chicago }.He was a shoe-in after giving the 2004 DNC
Convention Keynote Address.A virtual pack of Lies.
He was never vetted. He had the 2nd most Liberal voting record
    in the U.S. Senate.
Skin is what Identity Politics is all about.
It appears to be a tactic of the Democrat Party since the
passing of the 1964 Civil Rights act.The Democrats refused to
sign-on to Eisenhowers ' 57 Civil Rights bill.

A more appropriate question. Why do some citizens of the united states conduct themselves in a manner that suggests they resent and hate every aspect of the united states?

But it was in the 50's that Blacks voted Republican.MLK was a
    registered Republican.It was a Republican President { Eisenhower }
who drafted The First Civil Rights Bill { 1957 }.And in the late 50's
that the U.S. Senate had a Democrat Bigot { L.B.J. } as Majority leader.

And then the GOP threw all that away, Foolarid, as you try to hide.

No, we are not going back to your bad old days. The GOP could not carry the first cra because it was a piece of crap.

Then LBJ and the Dem majority congress grabbed the scruffy GOP minority in congress by the scruff of their scruffy necks and forced them to kneel to Civil Rights and Voting rights.

The Dems outvoted the Pubs by numbers and %s on both bills.

The GOP in Congress from the South voted 100% AGAINST both bills.

The House version of the Civil Rights act of 1964 was supported
by only 61% of that Chambers Democrats while 80% of Republicans
embraced the act.In the final Senate vote on the act it received 82% of
the Republican vote and was opposed by 69% of Democrats.
Similarly,in the Senate 94 % of Republicans vs. 76% of Democrats
voted in favor on the Voting Rights act of 1965.
    It was a Republican { Everett Dirksen [ R-IL ] } who in 1964
as Republican leader in the Senate condemned the Democrats
57 day filibuster of the 1964 Civil Rights act.
    It was Robert Byrd { got into politics as a recruiter for the KKK }
who spoke against the bill for 14 straight hrs.Byrd was acknowledged
by Democrats as " the conscience of the Senate ".

Trump hates disguised Americans that hate America. All four of your examples display their hatred for America and our system of government everywhere and every time they can.

You still believe the polls at this point, Sandy?

Some Democrats don't embrace the ideas of the leftist congresswomen, and there is a battle of sorts going on in the Democratic Party now, much as conservative Republicans are a thorn in the side of establishment Repubs.

Trump is making the leftists the face of their party, as he's well aware that normal Americans will reject their political beliefs.

And don't fool yourself; it's readily apparent the presidential candidates are moving further to the left...

The Dems in the N and the W outvoted in numbers and #s than the GOP in the N and the W.

The GOP in the south voted against the CR and V acts 100%.

The Dems forced the GOP to its knees and made it swallow the bills.

The Ds beat down the opposition to the bill, while Dirksen and the GOP leadership let the southern members of the party try to kill it.

Got it? GenX and Millennials and Zs all know that.

    No one can change that.

agreed, but many elected officials are the descendants of slave owners, like kamala harris

    more recently, southern republicans

not that there is anything wrong with that, since they are not genetically predisposed to owning a slave without their consent.

I don't think he fears them, he's simply using them to illustrate how far the Democratic Party has drifted from mainstream Americans.

It's the GOP that has drifted far to the right of the mainstream in America.
