Heck, we have a Black president. Times HAVE changed. WHAT IS IT YOU WANT? I will say this. Mr. Obama's performance has been such a failure, people who voted for a Black man before might not again. He's made it hard for another Black man to be president now. How much better off WE ALL would have been, if he'd lived up to even half of his promised potential.

As a Latino I can say that blacks and latinos are the root cause of racism in the United States. The problem with racism in America is a lot of people have misconceptions about other races. Also humans naturally tend to be fearful of that which they are ignorant, take Muslims and the fear of terrorism. I have seen all races say incredibly stupid and ignorant things when they are feeling either put upon, or perceive something as racist. I do not think the media helps at all. about all I can say about whites for the most part are not generally racist to the point of hating others, they are just ignorant of other races. This works both ways, cultures also play a role in shaping how we view others, and sometimes seeing someone say something differently or act differently provides us with misconceptions. I think most people need to stop lying to themselves and realize that they are probably somewhat racist to which degree depends on the individual. I wish we could have a true honest open talk about race in this country. If someone says something hurtful, they shouldnt be bullied into submission, they should be called on it and made to explain it. People are going to make judgments about you, its part of life, its what you do with it that shows your true self. Since i am white its hard for me to understand what racism looks like to other races. Life is hard, sometimes you dont get the job or whatever not because of your race, but maybe they see something you dont see in you.
