I think it’s the underhanded way in which they manipulated the US and Britain in the creation of their State. They’ve been accused of expanding into Palestinian territories. You didn't even mention a major reason why people hate Israel in the West : foreign influence and obvious conflicts of interests. About every country has a national identity of some sort, all have their differences - so why hating the jews more than, say, indus, who are much more "alien" to occidental culture than white, abrahamic Israelis are? I am a Jew, and I of course abhore anti-Semitism and all other forms of bigotry. However, it pains me greatly to see my fellow Jews in Israel commit crimes against the Palestinian people and then cry about persecution when their crimes are criticized. Left-wing folks call me a "Zionist conspirator" because I refuse to support violence against Israeli civilians and the physical destruction of Israel.
I think that you are a good, well-intentioned person. Making generalities is fine for discussions' sake, but in the end we must not forget that we are talking about individuals here, and that they do differ. Some of the jews I agreed more here with were Israelis.
Oh, they are hated primarily due to antisemitism. It is well known europe has always a bit antisemitic. It is in their genes. The jews were blamed for the plague in some areas of infection. The antisemitism is perhaps a bit milder today, but it is still there. And yet their problems in europe are in regards to their immigrant muslim population. Too bad they didn't get Malaysians. If that's the case, as you advocate, spread the hate. The US should invade Canada for supporting the Brits instead of growing a backbone to revolt. More so, the US should support the native English speaking Canadians to squash the French speaking Canadians for the massacres they committed in 1857.
