I was just wondering how long an illegal would be able to wander around without someone being able to deport them.

Well lets not get to far ahead of yourself here!

So most recent estimate put illegals in this country between 11 and 13 million with some studies and Analysts stating the number may be much higher due to difficulty of detection due to sanctuary states and cities!

    Politfacts
I understand your not ignorant and I would never imply the left were, BUT, it would seem that 42% and 4.5 million is a little under what you perceive to be "THE MAJORITY" of illegal, unless we are using leftist arithmatrick math and that may be the catch here?

Feel free to read it, or don't, it may be a pretty big hit to your ego, but good luck with everything :)

But what the leftist don't mention that most who allowed their tourist visas to expire making them illegal aliens usually board a plane with in six months and go back home after hitting all of the amusement parks and tourist traps in America.

After spending all of that money being a tourist in America you start getting low on money and have to go back home and go back to work.

When the left uses crimes committed by illegal aliens they also include those tourist who have allowed their tourist visas to expire, basically cooking the numbers in favor for MS-13 and most other illegal aliens who- illegally crossed the border.

I don't know. How long did they wander when Bush got rid of INS and created ICE and CBP?

    Paranoid much?

He did not eliminate INS and start from zero. He moved it around and they kept substantially the same people.

OMG. Don't tell me you believed the border patrol's statement?

Oh no! To avoid any confusion, allow me to clarify that my "moron" comment wasn't aimed at you or anybody in particular. It was a general statement. I guess somebody could come up with a reason for an American citizen to deny being an American citizen to border patrol.

Let's see... maybe the guy forgot he was an American? ... Uhmmm.... no.... because his mother brought documents proving that he was and they still wouldn't let him go. Uhmm... maybe the guy likes being in a cage for 3 weeks???

I don't know... I'm out of ideas. What is your explanation?

It should not have happened. However, things like that are more apt to happen when you are overworked and underfunded.

What same people? You mean immigration agents and such? Of course! But you re-train and re-hire them if they pass the training and through background checks including checking their activity in social media. But the standing orders are different: respect their constitutional rights, understand that asylum seekers are not criminals, respect for human dignity and especially for human rights of families and children...

You know... Unlearn all the illegal crap that this immoral administration has been filling their minds with. If they can't unlearn, they are not re-hired.

Bush did not keep the people on top. No....

How much funding is required to read a birth certificate?

Things like that happen when the culture that dominates your work environment is one of racism.

You said start from zero. That means you start from scratch and maybe hire some of the original and maybe not. Totally new organization.

For all practical purposes, they just changed names and went to work for a different group of people. As best I can determine, no one was fired or lost their job in the process, except possibly at the senior level. .

Asylum seekers that enter this country illegally are criminals.

That depends on how many birth certificates you are trying to read and verify at the same time.

The link I posted is a source for the article you posted, it appeasers in the second paragraph, which I am giving you below.

"During the 23 days he was in the custody of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, Galicia was not allowed to shower, he told The Dallas Morning News, which first reported his story."

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/us-cit...fficials-conditions-bad-almost-self-deported/

Go back to your article and click the link (hint, its the underlined hyperlink in your article) to see the details that your BS biased source left out of their "retelling" of the story.

    Glad I could help.

Can you show proof he had dual citizenship? The article does not mention that, only that he had two names and had been using a fake visa from Mexico to cross the border. Weird that an American citizen would do that don't you think?

What's weird is he has a Dallas Hospital birth certificate but it's not registered on the Live Birth Index that the state of Texas keeps.

    Yeahright. Your linked article says:

"Generally, situations including conflicting reports from the individual and multiple birth certificates can, and should, take more time to verify," the statement read.

That doesn't say Galicia had multiple and conflicting birth certificates on him, or conflicting IDs.

"Francisco Galicia told Border Patrol agents that he was a citizen and presented them with a Texas ID, Social Security card and a wallet-sized birth certificate. But agents doubted the validity of his documents right away, Galicia said. "

"Claudia Galan, Galicia’s attorney, told The News that CBPs decision to hold Galicia despite his citizenship was likely tied to the issuance of a visitor’s visa that agents found in their records after they scanned his fingerprints. Galicia’s mother obtained the visa for him when he was a minor and claimed he was born in Mexico.
    "

So there was a problem with identification, but CBP lied in declaring his birth certificate was a fake. They didn't know that but they said it anyway. Did it really take 23 days for them to clear it up? And the conditions he reported are criminal.

Yup when you use incomplete data :) Still doesn't dismiss the link I provided and you still work like hell to avoid explaining how your mathmatrick providers haven't even got the actual number of illegals in this country close :)

And his lawyer is right anyone who has ever lived along the border can tell you that driving while Mexican will get you stopped by the border patrol. I used to date a hispanic girl while living in Texas and we got pulled over by border patrol all the time. It stopped after I threatened to press criminal charges over it because the border patrol doesn't have the legal authority to pull people over and do traffic stops.
