Why you can’t ban AR-15s

He does have an interesting point, though. Even a handgun typically fires at a high enough rate to be dangerous to crowds of people. Banning assault rifles is probably not going far enough.

 

Hard to do with 15 million guns. That, and even registration of guns has proven problematic. In Connecticut, which started the registration of ARs, they have an estimated 5% compliance in registration.

Passing a law that forces the law abiding to turn in their guns absolutely violates the constitution.
You cannot honestly think otherwise, and you most certainly cannot present a sound argument to that effect.

 

13 states will prevent any repeal of the 2nd amendment. It requires 38 states to approve a constitutional amendment. If 13 states refuse, it's a no-go.

 

Their end game is guns only for teh government.

The paper work is amazing let alone the cost to buy a machine gun legally of any type as I happen to know a few people that had gone through the pain of buying them.

I myself would love to own a BAR but given the hoops to legally buying one it is not worth the trouble to me.

 

If you can get them legally, they aren't banned.

LOL they had been defacto been ban for 80 years or so in the US but if you feel otherwise then let just do the same with assault rifles able to do mass killings even in the hands of non-experts and everyone will be happy and schools will be far be less likely to look like slaughterhouses from time to time.
