I don't think Texas will go blue this election, but there is a good chance the vote will be close enough to trigger a recount, and that should be enough to make the GOP do some serious soul searching about the parasite they've chosen to worship.

Unsalvageable? No. A minority party and one that is less aggressive at playing politics? Yes. The only requirement is a change in the leadership of the party. Politics should not be a war but it is. Republicans bring a 6 shot revolver to the war with only 2 cartridges.

 

No, it's more like the Republicans have slingshots and the Democrats have nuclear weapons. The courts and justice system are the Democrats "nuclear option," and it sucks. Give the Democrats another election or two and their justice system will look just Putin's justice system with many political prisoners.

 

We certainly have growing corruption in the justice system but I don't think republicans would do what the democrats do if they were the majority party. Nor do I think democrats would stop doing it if they were the minority party. It is a basic difference in concept about how to do politics. It is no holds barred against we disagree. It is a support of fair play against the opposition to it.

Look at the nationwide gerrymandering democrats are doing with open borders. Republicans wouldn't gerrymander that way. They would do it in the traditional manner within the states. While gerrymandering is corrupt on either side, the nationwide effort is only on the left side. I see seals vs. polar bears.

 

Schiff is a radical liberal that despises democracy and wants to rule the world. It's his way or the highway. Don't dissent or your life will be over.

I'm an Independent. I happen to be a fiscal Conservative, which is at odds with Socialism. Trouble is that even though the Democrats are not very fiscally responsible, the Republicans are even worse - higher deficits and higher debt. You mentioned that "the election of 2020 was stolen".
