They say that a thousand monkeys with a thousand typewriters for a thousand years would come up with a Shakespeare play. That's almost as many lawsuits as the Dems have brought against Trump, so something might just stick.

But I wouldn't count on it any more than the monkeys with typewriters thing.

Because Trump did nothing wrong, right? Perfect phone calls. Perfect False Elector Plot. Perfect Falsification of Business Records, Perfect rape.

Wrong? That's a moral judgement. Talk with a priest or a rabbi about that.
But he did nothing ILLEGAL. Again... TRUMP HAS NEVER BEEN CONVICTED OF ANY CRIME IN ANY CRIMINAL COURT IN THE NATION. Civil courts determine monetary liability only, not guilt or innocence of any crime.

He hasn't personally been tried in any. He keeps delaying them. You would think, if he's so damn innocent, that he would be eager to prove it.

In case you never heard... here in America we are INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF CRIMINAL LAW.
Your opinion is as good as anyone else's and legally... just as meaningful.

If he's innocent, why is he delaying?

The legal system is delaying. Trump has no control over it. Although Biden, as a sitting President, does,

A "true one". Trump is just a private citizen now.
    And I'm not your "mate".
    I don't roll that way.

Ran across this article today, which is appropo for this thread.

    https://houstonlanding.org/voter-re...ess-getting-texas-voters-to-turn-out-less-so/

Voter registration efforts have been a success. Getting Texas voters to turn out, less so.

Texas Democrats came away from Beto O’Rourke’s surprisingly narrow 2018 defeat to U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz with a simple plan: register to vote the millions of nonvoting Texans that demographics suggest lean Democrat and electoral victories will follow.

Harris County, the biggest, bluest population center in the state filled with unregistered potential voters, would be the linchpin of that strategy.
    ...
Fewer than one out of five registered voters in Harris County cast a ballot in last week’s elections, which featured an open mayoral seat in Houston and a host of state constitutional amendments, among other local races. Harris County’s turnout in the 2022 gubernatorial election was 9 percent points lower than in 2018.

So that will be the Democrats challenge.

In real life it is a 20 point lead over Allred.
The survey, conducted by Cygnal, found that Cruz is leading Allred by 45 percent to 36 percent. The poll was carried out on 1,000 likely general election voters in Texas between April 4 and 6.

TX will not go Blue in 2024 or 2028. But by 2032 , yes it is possible. TX came long way . since 2020 TX moved toward DEMS by 8.5%. the pro choice women might add another 2%-3% toward DEMS but that still not enough.

    upload_2024-4-22_14-29-40.png
DEMS wants to win TX because it is a big prize. Too much out of state liberal money spent in 2018 between Beto vs Ted. That money could have been spent somewhere else and had a better return.

I think rather then trying to win state wide race, DEMS should focus on local election and congressional district for next 10 years. Build a better ground game and try to win state wide election after 2028.

I would rather see Dems spend money in Phoenix, Atlanta, Charlotte. North Carolina’s 16 EC would be much easy to get. My biggest concern this election is MI. Biden team need one of the three AZ,GA or NC to replace MI.

Yet 88% African-American vote for DEMS. 60% Hispanic vote for DEMS.

What do they know who to vote? White man should tell them who they should vote. Right?

No wonder Black and Latino vote DEMS, because they don’t need white man telling them the truth and whom to vote. They vote their interest and they see DEMS has better policy for them then GOP.

Actually it was half of Trump voters, which is 30 million or so people (half of 60 million), or about 10% of the US. Is 10% of the US deplorable? Seems like a harsh way to put it. Wrong and misguided by bigotry may be more accurate. And it obviously was a very dumb thing to say in terms of getting elected.
