Its not pique. I like DACA people. I want them to stay. No point in negotiating with someone who as a businessman has a reputation as someone who reneges on his word. this is largely a congressional issue anyway so those are the folks I want at the table.

But we have much larger issues with Trump at the helm than DACA, issues of war and peace, nuclear war, income inequality, climate change. We have a patriotic duty to stop this man from gaining any more political capital that he can turn into power. In my opinion he is a danger to this country and the planet. DACA pales in significance.

How does that negate the fact that it was written by Republicans?

Nope. Just pointing out the fact that the GOP wrote Obamacare over 2 decades ago and were all for it.

And if they stay, what about their families? They all have to stay too right? First take the inch, and then build the mile off that? GOP wants to break up families routine when they need to go?

Can't do it, huh? And of course those who are more knowledgeable on this board, which is almost everyone, knew that was true when your first foolish claims were posted..

the courts blacked Trump's DACA repeal, so now there is time, after 2018 Democrats can put a bill on Trump's desk if Republicans wont do it now as they will have control

But the GOP realized it was a mistake. And now, eight years later, all of us know it was a mistake.

Government control of any industry never ends well.

Right. Contrary to the posters claims, the Republican Party rejected the idea..

I am amazed that with the events of the past 48 hours there are some people who still think somehow that performance was anything short of embarassingly pathetic. He confirmed what trump insiders in that fake book claimed in graphic detail. No command of the topic, no policy direction, agreeing with whoever last spoke, blurting answers while demonstrating that cluelessness, self aggrandizing and basically passing the buck with platitudes like a bill of love and crap like that.

Then he slips up today while lyin his butt off again claiming fantastic ratings for his "performance" the other day then at least having the sense to correct himself. UNBELIEVABLE and some people think hes doing a good job.

Let alone he delusionally ignores a proven serious national security threat in defense of his own legitimacy and NOT as commander in chief defending thenation from hostile foreign attack. Disgraceful. I'm not a lawyer but such neglect smells like treason at worst and insanity at best.

Well now, like I said before, the left is having a hernia over bipartisanship. All because of TDS.

I have been in a lot of negotiating rooms as lead negotiator and as part of a team. Sometimes with as many people as he had around the table or even more.
Like you, what I saw of his performance was pathetic. If the lead guy on my negotiating team spoke the way he did, I would get him replaced.

If a deal gets done on immigration it will be despite Trump's performance in that room - not because of it.

You can simply see he is just a host, zero comprehension of the issues and what he is agreeing to. Typical unnecessary middle man show with zero input/plan, just there to claim "victory".

Paul Ryan is a jerk; I'm not helping to pay his salary in order to help him make people look like clowns. He needs to do his job and act like a speaker of the house ought to be.

Good luck with that, he took RUssian dark money right after the RNC Ukraine platform change in 2016.

Those of us who have spent considerable time in board rooms grappling with policy and strategy couldn't view that performance as anything but pathetic verging on incompetence. Seems he has no clue what LEADERSHIP is all about. Happens a lot with family business guys disguised as corporate players.

Those attempting to defend trump and his professional competence can be expected to mount such lame ill informed defense.\

I do agree its all because of TDS. Trump Delusion Syndrome.
