I doubt that contribution of evolution theory, because Gods were postulated LONG LONG before evolution was recognized by any measurable percent of the population.

Besides, recognition of mortality is FAR more direct that is evolution.

After all, anyone who knows anything about evolution knows that no individual is going to have a measurable contribution to human evolution. Whether an individual dies or not is irrelevant, regardless of their age at death.

Perhaps I did not make myself clear. It was evolution that lead to a fear of death (a trait favored by natural selction) and intelligence (another trait favored by natural selection) for humans understand that death would occur. Evolution has been at work since abiogenesis took place. Thus, as a general statement, due to natural selection, most humans have both a fear of death and understand they are going to die. The recognition of evolution has no bearing whatsoever on what I am saying.

And I am not talking about an individual per say or did not mean to imply so. Rather, I am saying that a certain fear of death is a trait that is favored by the process of natural selection, i.e., a survival trait.

like embracing laws do you mean? you know, the ones, sent down in the ten commoandments?

so you don't believe in magic? Those without morality, tend to lean towards Anarchy. Funny, how that works.
    God represents morality.

well, I guess American Democrats call themselves gods, but I am no God.
I didn't create the heavens and the Earth, I didn't create rocks, or every blade of grass.

I guess this does explain a lot.

Democrats think that they're gods. hmmm. ok. I get why people vote democrat now.

Democrat Politicians think they're gods, and say that their followers can be gods, and they want to destroy the Real God in America.

What is rape again? maybe you can define it for me?

Cause in my early years of doing drugs, I use to see tons of girls getting raped, because they were on drugs, would say no, but the guys would do it anyways. It sucks that Dem politicians support drugs so much. ultimately they support rape also.

I would have done something, but when you're in the house of a drug dealer, if I tried fighting one guy off, I'd either would have ended up in the icu, or the morgue.

girls would end up doing things for drugs, that they normally wouldn't have done, and girls that were so messed up on drugs, tons of guys would take advantage of.

Talk about respecting women, their bodies, and their rights.
Mosts rapists are liberals. For 1. more republicans have honor, and democrats could care less about honor, or manners.

    (not just for God)
But I'd much rather be in a party that has Standards, and try to fight every day to live up to be good enough for those standards, then for a party that has none, with no manners, and very materialistic, who is Anti-Christ.

But that is your own right.

I've been a Theologist, studying different spiritual beliefs, and religions, since I was 15. I'm 35 now.

I'd say, things like Love, hope, positivity, are good purposes in life. And that is God.

What do you think, the purpose of life is? Prove me wrong, if you can?

Nope, the philosophy modern, secular law is based on.

    Still nope.

    Still nope.

No, they don't. But if they know history, they do worry about religious persecution..

This is a secular country with secular law. Fairy tales need not apply...

Well, if it is taken at face value that there is one God and Gospel preserved in the Bible. Then when I consider that there are tens of thousands of differing Christian denominations. I must conclude from this that Christianity is effectively tens of thousands of different Gods and Gospels. Therefore, Christianity is more babel or a cult following, established by the measure of as many different men, than something established in truth by God. That's not to discount the sincerity or good works of the individual members. But rather that the grace of truth and divine authority is not to be found there. Such is the prudent necessity of religious liberty established in our Constitution. That's not to say there is no God. But that his finding or to be found by him, is to the individual, to make his peace and abode.

Solomon broke his own counsel and Gods laws. In the end, he lamented his choices. God chastised him and his kingdom was broken up.

Because it involved the workings, acquaintance with, and nearness of God along the course, thousands of years ago. Which lends an assuredness of divine authority, like salt to the stew. But truth is good wherever it is found, I suppose. It is one thing to be blessed. But it is better to know where it comes from, so as to give the honor and glory to God. That is the Bibles worth. I know you find that absurd. And that you prefer to esteem yourself by the gift as if you were special. But frankly, I find that absurd. My gratefulness to God is abundant. My every good thing is to his glory. Him I esteem, like a lighthouse on a raging sea. I set my course and keep my eye upon him. I bless the lightkeeper and hearth. Or shall I esteem my skill when my reliance is upon mercy and my heart cries hidden.

(Responding to the bold). Not necessarily the conclusion to be drawn from the premises. Consider how letters written centuries ago can/have been charged as they are copied. Over the centuries the copies may only bear a little resemblance to the originals. Is it the "author" of the letters that is at fault for being misunderstood? Even if the "author" would dictate new letters it would be questioned as being authentic given the accepted versions of letters attributed to the "author".

You abandon one scriptural argument and then scurry to another scriptural crag. How many times do you have to be wrong to concede that it is you rather than the Bible that isn't quite right?

Where do you think the principles upon which secular laws are based come from? They come from the traditions of developed society, a society formed in Judeo/Christian traditions. You know, the Bible.

I don't fault the original, anymore than I would fault the sun for the wrong doings of men underneath it. I know that God lives and that the Bible is essentially true. I just don't believe the multitude of Churchs. To me they are like troupes of actors who take the stage and give their rendition. The Bible is their script and they each play their part. When one is finished, another takes the stage. And then another and another. Tens of thousands of differing denominations. Each with their own spin. So what passes for Christianity, isn't Christianity to me. It is a knock off, a counterfeit, a dizzying kaleidoscope at odds with one another, and thus at odds with what should be a sober and divine truth. Pull the lever, stop the ride, and let me off. I hate the lights, mirrors, and gambling. It isn't right to be bedazzled and my soul sifted like a commodity in the marketplace. I will worship the true living God in his way, not the worlds God in their way.
