The plausible explanation for Martin attacking Zimmerman was that Martin was getting stalked & threatened by Zimmerman ... known as flaming & baiting ...

    Sound familiar ?

Sounds like a plausible explanation to me, mikezila,

Will the irony in this remarkable case of victimization never end!

So you don't have all the facts.

    Thanks for admitting that.

Now, can you explain why you are coming to conclusions without all the facts?

Everything that I stated is accurate according to the known facts and the witness accounts.

No question at all.In fact that is why these Lefties and Protestors refuse
to even consider there was any ground scuffle.Because that means,it
WOULD be possible for the 9mm to easily go off or be sought after.
Which means there is an Activist movement to NOT be curious but rather
Suppress,Deny and Target.Target the shooter as obviously Guilty w/o
any doubt.Suppress any and all info that explains a confrontation.
Deny the Facts as established and use speculation, and urban myth
to support a claim for conviction.
This is one area that Chris Matthews CAN'T easily be used to help
out his lamestream.Because matthews is a former Capitol Police.
Matthews is THE only Lib thus far at MSNBC and CNN who is asking not
to jump to conclusions. He alone mentioned the report about a bloody
nose and back of head injury as well grass stains on his shirt.
No ... Not Matthews shirt ... dummies.

:woozy: That pretty much sums it up.
One other factor at play here....the president of the United States felt a need, once again, to inject himself into the fray when he has none of the facts.... and stir things up racially. Not the first time he's done it; and probably won't be the last.

So let me get this straight. According to the right-whingers:

    1) Zimmerman was acting in self-defense when he got out of the car, pursued an unarmed teenager, chased him down on foot and shot him.

    2) Trayvon Martin was the aggressor because according to the ?Mystery Witness? whose account is directly contradicted by Trayvon's girlfriend who was on the phone, he was being chased by an armed older and much larger male on a dark and rainy night who was obviously aggressive and hostile.

Yeah...wow. Great law you have there...

This video adds nothing to what we already know. We know there was a scuffle. That has been known from the beginning. Trayvon, under the SYG law, had every right to defend himself from an attacker. If Martin was shot for defending himself then his attacker should be prosecuted.

Also, Zimmerman's own lawyer says the SYG law does not apply to Zimmerman.

    Absolutely incorrect.

Please do not fabricate facts that do not exist.

If you continue to proclaim this please cite the facts that state Zimmerman pulled out the gun before the fight and who started the fight.

    Go ahead.

Wrong again. WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. Thats what differs us from you. We admit we don't have the facts before jumping to conclusions about what happened.

Wrong again. So typical of liberals. First you want to lynch Zimmerman and anyone who disagrees with you must be on the complete opposite side believing he's innocent also without knowing all the facts.

Face facts, we just aren't as emotional as liberals are. We prefer knowing the facts about this case before jumping to conclusions.

    Cite things I never claimed?

I never said who started the fight.

I never said Zimmerman pulled out a gun. The fact in the matter was that he was armed that night. Evidence for that? He shot someone with his gun.

Zimmermans' attorney is now saying this is not a case of *Stand Your Ground* but *Self-Defense* ...

Jeb Bush who signed the Stand Your Ground into Law and has just now stated as breaking news ...

... so somebody has the facts ...

Jeb Bush Says 'Stand Your Ground' Invalid in Trayvon Martin Case

    http://nation.foxnews.com/jeb-bush/...stand-your-ground-invalid-trayvon-martin-case

ARLINGTON — Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said Friday that the “stand your ground” self-defense law he signed while in office should not apply to the case of a teenager who was killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer in his home state.

“This law does not apply to this particular circumstance,” Bush said after an education panel discussion at the University of Texas at Arlington.

“Stand your ground means stand your ground.
It doesn’t mean chase after somebody who’s turned their back.”

You've alleged a crime. Assault and Battery with Zimmerman as the victim. I'm asking what was the motive?

    https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/326700-full-transcript-zimmerman.html#document/p2/a49098

    A little background...

    http://loop21.com/frank-taffe-neighborhood-watch-defends-george-zimmerman

"The Sanford resident, Frank Taffe, said that he shot Martin because of numerous burglaries in the complex they live in — The Retreat at Twin Lakes.
Taffe alleged that there have been eight robberies in the last 15 months, and all of them have been allegedly committed by black males.
"The stage was already set. It was a perfect storm,” Taaffe said. “I think any time you use a weapon, there are certain anger issues working.”"

So you have an angry armed man intending to "defend" his neighborhood from marauding "fu**ing c**ns" pursuing one of them he is certain to be up to no good.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGuctYqCDvo"]DIAGNOSTIC: George Zimmerman Clearly says "(*)(*)(*)(*)ing Coons" Before Killing Trayvon Martin - YouTube[/ame]

What is not speculation is that Zimmerman pursued someone who was, in his own words, "running" away. The clear evidence is that Zimmerman, while armed, initiated the confrontation, and during the confrontation, with no evidence that deadly force was being used against him, used deadly force.

Zimmerman committed the crime here and the crime is assault.

"An assault is carried out by a threat of bodily harm coupled with an apparent, present ability to cause the harm."

The fact the kid ran indicates the kid was afraid and Zimmerman's pursuit, size, and age (plus the fact he was armed) demonstrate he had the ability. Zimmerman did not have to touch the kid for the crime of assault to occur (that's battery).

I don't claim Zimmerman is a racist. He did racially profile Martin but that's not proof he is a racist.
The police also racially profiled Martin. Thus their willingness to close the matter with almost no investigation.

Zimmerman's "good intentions" do not relieve him of his responsibility to obey the law.

He committed an assault while in possession of a firearm. In Florida, in addition to the stupid "Stand Your Ground" law we also have 10-20-Life.

If you commit a crime while in possession of a firearm the minimum sentence is 10 years. If you fire the gun, the minimum sentence is 20 years. If you kill someone the minimum sentence is life.

    The crime:

    http://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes...ng=&URL=0700-0799/0784/Sections/0784.021.html

A third degree felony. Add the gun makes it a minimum 10 year sentence. Add the death. Life sentence.

I agree that Martin had more reason to turn to the "stand your ground" defense. . . Since he was the person being threatened.

But. . .how can a 140lbs kid "wrestle a gun" out of the hands of a 200+ lbs grown man. . . Without being shot,

In fact. . .that MAY be why there was a struggle. . .it may even be the way Martin got shot. .

And IF Martin had been the one coming out alive from that struggle, if the shot had gone from Zimmerman's gun into Zimmerman's body. . . It would still have been Zimmerman's fault foe starting that assault of the kid. . .but I bet the kid would now have been in jail!

If Zimmerman was a vigilante, as many are claiming him to be, then why was he calling police all the time? Does not a vigilante mean he is acting on his own without the police?

    We also know that:

    1. Zimmerman is Latino! The Libocrats better go easy on the "racist" rant or it will backfire on them -- loudly!

    2. Obama has injected his garroulus mouth into the issue, hoping to jerk a few heart-strings by pointing out that if he had had a son, it would have looked like the dead kid. OK, but does that mean, by contrast, that Obama's hypothetical son would not have looked like a Latino?! Does that mean, by inference from President Messiah that being Black has more "validity" than being Latino? People who toss s*** should put on gloves and raincoats first....

So, the Republicans who wrote the law say it doesn't apply, the Rep. Gov. who signed the law says it doesn't apply, Zimmerman's own lawyer says it doesn't apply.

More confirmation how far out on the extreme PF conservatives are compared to sane conservatives.

Once again, everything I stated in this thread is accurate according to the known facts in the case and the claims of the witness.

If you would like to take me to task for something I said I welcome it. But please do not made vague insinuations. If there is something in the police report that disputes the claims I made in this thread please provide it.

Typically the weak-reponse from right-wingers is that Jeb Bush isn't gov. anymore so he doesn't matter ... despite his endorement of Willard just when this case came to front of all other issues ...

Should be good when Jebby-boy ends up as the 2012 GOP / Tea Bag Prez nominee at the RNC Brokered Convention as 2012 GOP Prez nominee and has to go up against Obama on this case ... he'll lose this debate either way ...

This is part of the trickle down benefits of concealed carry. ANYONE might be strapped. Be vewwy, vewwy caaful. It reduces crime committed by those with half a brain.

Yeah; probably some petty crime, a little grass-smoking. Yep, that absolutely nails the kid as a bad 'un and deserving of being shot by a fat retard.

George Zimmerman, the father, wrote a one-page letter to the Orlanda paper and said this......

"At no time did George follow or confront Mr. Martin. When the true details of the event became public, and I hope that will be soon," the letter said, "everyone should be outraged by the treatment of George Zimmerman in the media."

I don't know if he's talked to his son about the events or this is just what he believes happened.

Interesting too....to sit back and watch the lynch mob grow in numbers. Also interesting to note that the press continues to show the "meancing" photo of Zimmerman, while choosing to show a younger, friendly-looking photo of Martin.

Bottom line is....I think we should keep our minds open at this point. And that is coming from someone...."me" who first stated it sounded like Zimmerman should be arrested. Now, with more facts trickling out, I don't know.

I can't imagine anyone calling 911 and then "intentionally" shooting the other person. in a struggle with a gun, anything could have happened.
