    Pointing out your whining is not in itself whining. It’s an observation. But, you are free to think what you wish, lol.

    Not very enlightened of you either to assume that because there are some folks on the left who call themselves "woke" that it warrants the blanket statement you made that assumes all left-wing folks do. That's like assuming all right-wingers are Trump supporters.

    And secondly, a comma has nothing to do with wokeness, neither for nor against.

    I see. The earlier comment of yours that I replied to now makes much more sense with this new context.

    I thought "cracker" itself was a derogatory racist term..... Maybe they should rename them Munchie Jills.

    You wrote that the word "woke" and "enlightened" are synonyms:

    You then wrote that you never referred to yourself as "woke":

    So, are you saying that you are not enlightened?

    See, this is the thing: your friend @Phyxius had a not-so-smart moment while attempting to be clever, and, instead of them trying to worm their way out of it while looking foolish, you've decided to bear that cross, twisting yourself into a pretzel. Quite frankly, it rather pathetic.

    What is pathetic is, first, your logic, that any person who considers himself "enlightened," must have referred to himself as "woke." Clearly, that does not track with either common sense, or reality. And just because enlightened can be a synonym for woke, doesn't mean that "woke" is substitutable for "enlightened," because, secondly, you are ignoring the hugely important consideration of context. That is, enlightened is a fair description of one's attitudes, regarding those particular issues, to which, the word woke, refers (which is within a much more of a specialized area). One reason that I generally don't even use the word, is that, while I do understand the general idea, I am not confident that I am well-versed in all the specifics, and nuances, of "Wokeness." I prefer to use language that is fully in my wheelhouse, rather than jumping on words that may wind up being fads. You feel me? Ice, ice, baby!

    Thirdly, this whole tactic of yours-- strikingly similar to the game you just played with me, over punctuation-- is unsavory, & reflects poorly on your integrity. With punctuation, and spelling, it was
    you who brought it up, out of the blue--
    Then, after I humored your interest, in my punctuation, you replied:

    But still, you kept egging me on:

    Until you could find some trivial thing to seize upon, as if this were not just an online chat room/forum, but as if I was presenting an academic guide to writing style. All of this, by the way, was completely off-topic. Now you expect me to fall for your ruse, once again, in another, utter deflection, from the subject of the thread?

    Fool me once, shame on you;
    fool me twice-- shame on me.

    (P.S.-- I did laugh at, and appreciate, your comment in a previous post, about adding an exclamation, for zest, after ...pudding!)

    Need I remind you that whataboutism is a fake argument? But thanks for admitting that the complaint here is a hoax.

    Odd that a patois expression, a corruption of English, has become a common term this way. Awakened or enlightened mean something. The fashion in which 'woke' is used merely indicates lack of education.
