    James Buchanan - 1857 - 1861.
Anybody who picks a 20th or 21st Century President, doesn't know his rear end from a hole in the ground.

I don't know my rear end from a hole in the ground? Sir, I majored in US History (pre- 1865) in college. I am certified by the State of Florida to teach History although I still am currently working in my pre=college days of running a plumbing business. Obama has put us in debt more than ALL the previous presidents COMBINED.

The right wingers here will pick Obama, but keep in mind the majority of them don't know of any presidents prior to Richard Nixon. So take it for what it is.

The inclusion of Bill Clinton on the poll did bring some laughs though.

Dammit! Why does everyone keep insisting on putting Nixon as a choice in these "worst president" polls?

Hands-down, all time worst President in US history, Barack Obama, AKA Barry Soetoro.

Decades and even centuries from now, 'Obama' will be the pejorative expression people use when trying to describe somebody or something hopelessly dicked-up, crooked, ineffective, and utterly without redeeming features.

I'd say Herbert Hoover. He was known as a poor communicator who fueled trade wars and exacerbated the Depression.

Who was the worst President since WWII? No contest there. Barack Obama. His domestic and foreign policy is a failure and he one of the worst communicators whom I have ever heard.

George W. Bush, by a countrymile.
Not only for the unjust Iraq War, but for all the lies he told the world. Not for the debt he built up during his reign.
Not for the health system which he didn't renew. Not for the growing numbers of unemployed. Not for the economy, which is in turmoil and antiquated. Not for the desolate roads and bridges in your country. Not for not helping the coloured people to become equal. Not for not telling your gun and weapon industry to get f....
Its about trust and believe. You as American might see it differently, but since George W. Bush the rest of the world has lost its faith in your nation. A damage far bigger then anything else. You have become the untrustworthy mob, sorry to say.
    Regards

Or he would be, maybe, if Mod edit,,,flounder 2 were not on the other end of the same stick.

For all his weaknesses and faults, Obama is more much tuned on the world than one of these guys will ever be. Tea-baggers are the world's laughing stock, not Obama. Obama is only hated (the term isn't too strong) by a minority universally described in the most pejorative terms, as you perfectly know if you ever travelled outside the US or speak two or more languages.

About the poll, there some definitely missing there, among them Reagan and L.B. Johnson.

    Funny you posted this on my quote;
    I'm not a tea-bagger, I'm an independent free-thinker.

And I have travelled extensively outside the US my whole life, the whole while perfecting my English, learning conversational German, and a bit of Spanish.

If YOU believe that Mr Obama is much more tuned in on the world than even a bar of soap, I can only surmise that you are a shameless cheerleader and excuse-maker for the man.

I agree with you re; LBJ.
    Abysmal President.

I also view Jimmy Carter as a really good man, and one who I have long admired.
He was a poor President, though nowhere near as bad as Barry Soetoro.

I have this really close friend at work.
She's a southern black lady, and very active in her church.
She voted for Obama in 2008, and admits she fell for the entire package, the whole carefully crafted con.

In short order, as Obama revealed himself to be a crooked politician (not a leader),
a dishonest, disingenuous panderer (not an honest man of the people),
    a divider (not a uniter),
a secretive schemer (not an open, transparent Statesman),
    and a wasteful, self-absorbed fool,
my friend became heartbroken with shame and disgust.

She and most of her family members went from being Obama's biggest fans to his biggest critics.
It is fair to say now that she absolutely hates his guts.

It's been heart-rending to watch this transformation in my friend.

She and I are both eager to see him leave office.
    The sooner the better.

LOL, "Obama is more much tuned on the world", what a comedian you are!

obama is a joke all over the world, our allies don't trust him, our enemies don't fear or respect him, even here in the US his own party members running for election in Nov are distancing themselves from him. Well, maybe some people are glad obama is President, probably Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS, Putin, Assad, and all the other tyrants obama has unleashed on the world.

I'd have to go with Buchanan as well. I live overseas... I lived overseas while in the Navy and have many friends overseas with whom I still communicate regularly. They actually have a universally moderately positive view of President Obama and an universally horrible view of our congress.

Except that that isn't actually remotely true, no matter what certain news outlets in the US would have their ardent followers believe.

I wish I knew someone like that. In my neck of the woods, they still adore the foolish man. They don't seem to be politically astute enough to see him for what he is. It's impossible to talk politics with them because they don't have a starting point. They see black and it's all good. Tossing a handful of nuggets of truth at them just makes them dig in the heels.
