There is nothing twisted about the fact that both the Republican and Democratic parties are private organizations.

Both parties picked their candidates with no primaries at all for well over three quarters of a century.

"Fixing" a nomination has always been OK. Private entities can do as they please.

I know of few who would say fixing a primary election is OK, regardless of what might have happened in the past.

We know the Republican primary was a wide open contest. You know, the way Democratic processes are supposed to happen.

On the other hand, some elites in the Democratic Party decided to thwart the will of the people and atone Hillary. I find your sanctioning of this perversion as being not only sad, but dangerous. It illustrates how rabid ideology can hijack even the most basic rational thinking.

It's difficult to see the difference between commies and liberals today.

Exactly. And the Russians are having a big laff at our expense.

Worse than the silly 'ads' -- the fact Russians actually sponsored anti-Trump rallies after the election... and liberals couldnt wait to join forces with our 'enemy' against their own country. Such sheeple. :disbelief:

Then, none of the people you know understand the function of a primary election either, or understand that primary elections don't pick the people who serve in public office, only the party candidates.

There is no mention of either primary elections or political parties anywhere in the Consititution.

Most people understand primaries as a democratic process where the electorate, through state contests, determine the eventual party candidate. Maybe you can direct me to where the DNC proudly proclaims they reserve the right to determine the party candidate. I’m having a hard time finding it.

Ah, the "tiny threat" you are finding so humorous was funded to the tune of a million and quarter every month, not as "tiny" as you and your colleagues would like to pretend.

Plus the overwhelming majority of the rallies mentioned were for Trump prior to the election, those afterwards were sparsely attended, got any more talk radio excuses you want to echo?

I'm on FB and saw the 'ads' myself. If they spent a mil+ every month, the DNC must've spent 10 mil. The ads were equally silly... and unsuccessful, IMO.

Youre right about both sides experiencing Russian meddling w rallies, but I keep visualizing the left's SCREAM HELPLESSLY TO THE SKY day and would bet ten bucks it was Russian sponsored. :roflol:

yes in the 1950 libcommies secretly spied and took the 5th when asked. today Obama and Sanders are pretty much out in the open about it. This is a very deadly progression

Norman Thomas ( socialist presidential candidate)
The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of 'liberalism' they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.

One and quarter million a month on this effort alone, don't forget the hacking, employment of other social media venues, and efforts to bump into State election systems, and orchestrated espionage effort

And your Hillary/media "whataboutism" is noted, expected, also irrelevant

What would you suggest we do, put 'em in prison?

Point is, the DNC shined the light on this Russian 'meddling' hoping to bring down Donald Trump. Instead, its opened up a big can of worms for their own party.

But of course, we know that, right? ;)

trivial effort in comparison to $billions spent by Hillary and Trump and $billions in negative coverage from MSM. Plus Russians are better than liberals anyway since they no longer aspire to be communists while liberals do.

I find this thread disturbing for a variety of reasons. I encourage all who would prefer Russians over Americans to simply move to Russia. When you get there I would caution you not to speak out about the Russian government or friends of the Russian leadership.

You don't get to choose who is American because you don't like their politics. The rhetoric that is spewed from both sides is utterly childish and ridiculous. If you would place your liberties in the hands of a Russian over another American then I wish you much luck in keeping those liberties.

LOL. The NBC Nightly News just ran this banner:

    "Indictments Spark Presidential Twitter Rage"

Care for a little anti-Trump spin with your news?

I wonder if they're owned by THE RUSSIANS!

What a completely stupid and borderline traitorous post. Why do Trumpeizdas cone off implying their hatred of their own country? What's this disease that Trump has caused where our fellow Americans are turning against their own country and embracing a shithole country like Russia?

It did indeed spark the Orange Baboon to go into a Twitter rage. Truth is the truth.

    Lol...What a silly troll.
Liberals, as your fellow citizens, would be participating in our elections.
It's telling that you prefer foreign agents interfering in our elections.

Or in your case; spin is truth.

Do you mind if I ask why you use phrases like "Orange Baboon"?

Well Trump has been spending money like he's going bankrupt again.

After reducing the receivables by giving the wealthy a Huge discount,
he then blows the budget out of the water when the economy has been in Full swing for 7 years.

While President Obama did increase the Debt getting America out of the Great Recession... Trump is used to borrowing money that he doesn't intend to pay back.

The colossal budget measure passed both the Senate and House on the morning of February 9, ending a several-hour federal government shutdown that started at 12:01 AM. While Trump and Congressional leaders congratulate themselves for reaching common ground and keeping the government funded, their bill’s real legacy will be hurrying the issue of unsustainable deficits from the wing to center stage. It ensures that two milestones, bound to spook the public, arrive a lot sooner than expected. Deficits will probably reach $1 trillion in the current or next fiscal year, almost double what the Congressional Budget Office had projected less than a year ago for 2018. And U.S. debt is now on track to reach $30 trillion over the next decade. That’s over 100% of projected GDP, well into the danger zone where investors demand higher rates to buy government debt. And if rates do rise substantially, the U.S. will rival the likes of Italy as one of the world’s most debt-ravaged nations.
