Stalin was the most brutal dictator one could find, sending off millions upon millions to die in the gulags or to be executed on the spot under even the slightest suspicion of being against the State.
Also his orders during the war were brutal; if a Russian soldier would get caught by the Germans, he would be seen as a 'traitor' and his whole family would be hauled off to the gulags.
Or another order that if forces put 'one step back' in retreat, NKVD troops which would be put behind the lines would immediately shoot the retreating soldier.

You think that man would have brought 'happiness' to the world?

This law was, but not for the soldiers .... only for the officers.
This law has never been applied.

This law applied only to those of "fly the white feather ".

"Happiness for all of humanity on the teachings of Karl Marx" ?!?

Don't you know even the history of your own country? Ever heard of the "Holodomor", where Stalin starved millions of Ukrainians to death by confiscating all their food?

And millions upon million of Russians who were sent off to the gulags?

Communism is the WORST form of government imaginable and always ends up in a despotism. Just like tens of millions died back in the day when China went red.

Thank you. It is a powerful movie. My laugh was powerful too.

I see that you can not say anything more. I can add.
If Hitler had croaked June 21, 1941, the monuments in his honor would standing throughout Germany today.

Hitler was at least good for German people, even if he was bad for everyone else.

Stalin was good for no one, not even the Russian people.

Why did Hitler claim to be pro-Aryan while killing 10's of millions of Slavic people who are more Aryan than Germans are, while Hitler befriended Black Jesse Owens?

That surely doesn't sound anything like the modern elite Liberals what so ever, or does it?

First, watch the complete video so you can learn more about Hitler's racial policies.

Second, he didn't kill "10's of millions" of Slavic people, matter of fact, Croatia was 1 of the AXIS countries.
War was waged by the Germans as humanely and fast as possible, the so called "Blitzkrieg" ("Lightning war")..
Now a war is never humane of course, but the Germans sought out military targets only, unless a fighting force was held up in a city; according to rules of war in that case it is allowed to attack.
And even before the Germans would attack a city they would first send several warnings to surrender.

Well, if a military force retreated into a city between the civilians, like in Warsaw, Rotterdam or Stalingrad, then they first sent a couple of warnings for the army to surrender before they attacked.
Which is allowed according to international rules of war, because otherwise any army would retreat themselves within a city and attack from there.

If you want to eat, you have to work. How do you suppose Germany could feed these foreign millions?

Now consider the German POWs being used as slave laborers AFTER the war! Russia kept them until 1953, I heard. France and England had ? I don't know how many German slaves. France kept them to at least 1948.
An outraged International Red Cross complained that the United States, Britain and France were violating International Red Cross agreements they solemnly signed in 1929.
Thousands of former German soldiers were being used to clear minefields, retrieve sea mines or raze shattered buildings, and the Red Cross pointed out that the Geneva Convention expressly forbade employing prisoners of war in any dangerous labor.

I've read that many Polish and Russian POWs didn't want to go back home. Thousands of Czechs who had been with the German army were also afraid to go home.

The British had promised the Russians that they would send to the Soviet Union all Soviet citizens in their zone of occupation in Germany, including those who did not want repatriation. Their agreement appears to have been made with little thought or concern and with the assumption that those not wanting to return were guilty of treason – such as those Russian prisoners who had chosen to fight on the side of the Germans.
The British tried to talk the Americans into cooperating with this policy in the American zone of occupation. The Americans went along with it but with skepticism and reluctance. The British handed over to the Russians thousands of men, women and children from their zone amid scenes that haunted the British soldiers involved, including images of suicide by those being forced to return. The Americans handed over no more than a few hundred before they quit in disgust.

It is impossible to compare. This is nonsense. The Germans POWs were restoring that they demolished in Russia.

In Siberia, they sawed the trees. For example.
To build on the devastated Ukraine needs planks and logs.
During the war, killing many Russian men. German POWs had replacing them until 1953. When a new generation had come.[IMG]

The French had a more easy life. They capitulated..But, nevertheless, it is deemed the winner country.
