    If need be (as a last resort), I'd use physical force to restrain the attacker.

    I wouldn't use it to damage or abuse the attacker.

    Violence is for cowards.

    Simple.

    The DOJ statistics show the race of offenders. It's easy to extrapolate the political sympathies of 90% of African American offenders and almost two thirds of White offenders by reference to the published statistics on how Blacks and Whites vote.

    My life isn't governed by paranoia and irrational fear, so questions like that never cross my mind.

    Some people choose to get on with life and enjoy it, while others choose to worry about things that will probably never happen and thus they reduce their quality of life.

    I'm happy with my (non-violent) position.
