The US implemented a major land reform in post-war Japan under General Douglas MacArthur's SCAP. Japanese landlords who owned more than the permitted amount had to sell the excess land to the government at a fixed price and the government sold it at the same price to former contract farmers, giving first preference to any tenant who had been farming the land. Zimbabwe's land reform is somewhat similar to the Japanese precedent and contract farming arrangements where the indigenous farm owners would get only 10% of total produce will be prohibited. Imperial Japan's agricultural sector was as exploitive as Zimbabwe's until 1946, which is thought to be the main cause of the rise of fascism centred on the disgruntled sons of impoverished farmers who joined the Imperial Japanese Army.

Africans enslaved other Africans for, literally, 1000 years before they ever saw a white man. Read a book. African empires were built on slave labor. Tribes warred with one another and the loser became slaves and were sold to other tribes, the same thing whites are so horrible for doing.

Well when I move back to Africa I will bring it up to them also, but I have spent all my life in America and it is not just slavery that black folks in America have had to endure.
