I thought it was legal in America? Regardless, the debate I propose is not a legal one but a moral one. Do you find abortion immoral?
Legal doesn't mean morally correct. I find abortion reprehensible no matter on what level it is discussed.
Excellent. It's refreshing to meet someone who personally opposes abortion, yet has no intention of changing the law. I don't believe it ever is murder, but I have no intention of forcing my opinion on you.
You've misunderstood me. The laws regarding abortion are immoral and should be changed. My thanks in advance. I'll pray for you.
OP, the reason why it's pointless to debate with someone like you is because you don't even know when you're licked. You can have your ass handed to you two or three times and you'll still think you're winning the debate. You are so married to your beliefs that no amount of logic, facts, or reason can pierce through your dense self-made reality. If I wanted an exercise in futility, I'd teach my dog how to play the piano.
That's where you go wrong, you see. You do want to force your opinions on others. I'll pray for you, too. You lied.
Maybe nobody's tried logic, facts or reason? I haven't seen any from the anti women's rights side, myself. You just need to carry on arguing that abortion is wrong because you say so. It's the same sort of thing.
Congratulations. You've just proven my point. If you cannot separate PRO-LIFE from "anti women's rights," then you won't do well in recognizing logic, facts, or reason. Because you are proving that emotional word association is more important to you than critical thought. You're no better than the OP.
Laws that restrict abortion harm women. If you support women's rights, then you would support their right to choose. oh blah..try me.
A desire on my part to change the law in favor of life isn't forcing my opinion on anyone. Didn't you say that you're an atheist? Just who does an atheist pray to? And I haven't lied about anything.
Which are attached to inside of a body of a woman and are of value only to her. You did. You said you wouldn't force your opinion on others
It is life which has a value to the baby's father, relatives and society as a whole. And I haven't. I've stated my opinion and defined it but I haven't forced it on anyone.
Implying there is something morally wrong with killing human (or non-human) life that does not even have a mind. btw. do you, or do you not support outlawing abortion as murder? First you say you dont support legal restrictions, then you say the laws should be changed. How changed?
Not as much value as the woman. You want to change the law. You therefore want to force your opinions on others.
How do you know? That's not true at all. I'm not forcing anything on anyone. People can chose to accept my opinion as correct or not as they see fit.
What criteria would that be? They have a pulse and they have EEG activity. They may not be a fully developed human but they are nevertheless a human being.
