Police injured in protests, acts of vandalism at Trump inauguration

Washington (CNN)Several police officers were injured as protesters engaged in scattered acts of vandalism and attempted to block off entry points to Donald Trump's inauguration on Friday in Washington, D.C.

Three DC police officers were taken to the hospital for undetermined injuries after run-ins with protesters, DC Fire Spokesman Vito Maggiolo told CNN. The injuries are non-life threatening.
A few blocks from the White House, outside the security perimeter, building windows along the street were broken out, some vehicle windows were smashed and newspaper stands toppled. One business owner told CNN there might have been as many as several hundred protesters in the area, some dressed in black.
At one point, police used pepper spray as a group of protesters, many of them wearing masks, ran down 13th Street.
"I think Donald Trump is a fascist, and it's very easy for people, especially people who are in pain, to slip into fascism," said Lysander Reid-Powell, 20-year-old student from New Mexico. "We could really see our country go in a disturbing way, and so I want to obstruct that as best I can and be a part of the resistance."
At one checkpoint, about 50 protesters sat down in the street in an attempt to block Trump supporters from entering a secure area to watch the swearing-in ceremony and speech. Not far away, a group of immigration backers staged a "pop up" protest near another check point.

The Democratic Party and their MSM propaganda outlets did succeed in scaring many people away and in their advertising for riots, protests and violence. The mass protests, however, did not appear as they claimed. Fortunately, CNN failed their advertising for a mass terrorist attack taking out the elected heads of government so an Obama appointee could become president.

It turns out the 1/3 of cowardly Democratic members of Congress who stayed away fearing the violence they were promoting didn't succeed and had overrated their power to cause riots and violence.

Throwing rocks and bricks at the police. The Police need catapults to throw bricks and rocks back. Throwing a brick at someone is assault with a deadly weapon. It would be entirely legal (and correct) for police to shoot someone who is about to throw a brick (or large rock) at police or anyone else.

The reasons these riots and vandalism occurs is because it is known the police aren't going to do anything about it.

 

So many of the liberals are satanists, so who knows how many 'spells' were put on Donald Trump to keep him from becoming president.

The important thing though is to get to the root cause of all these problems and that is jobs. Many of these anarchists need the money and are being paid by organizations funded by George Soros. The organizations should also be shut down.

Everywhere Trump was at was violence and riot free. It was the areas that were relying on Democrat controlled law enforcement that were hit as usual.

 

That was such a stupid slogan. Hell, Trump could have used it as-is and its meaning would have been entirely different and more accurate!

That's a little silly. The cops did their job.

But you have to admit that it's kind of funny how the bikers were nowhere to be seen and this violence erupted despite their promises to be there and prevent that very thing.

FALSE. The only except was paid Hilary Clinton agitators provoking violence. The DNC and their propaganda outlets continue to advocate violence.

I am less than convinced that the people knocking out Starbucks windows are anti Trump protesters. Due to the way they are dressed and armed with hammers they clearly came out for a different evening than protesting against Trump. No rational for that. I think it is more likely they are Trump agent provocateurs having a go at Global Starbucks while at the same time tying to give the impression it was Trump Supporters .

It just would not be rational for anti Trump supporters to act this way but would be for Trump Supporters.

 

They're anarchists, pure and simple. Lock 'em up and throw away the key.

 

I don't understand these sort of violent conflicts personally. All the rioting, all the crime, all the crying, it doesn't actually change who is our President. These people rioting are not making any difference. They are not heroes standing up for a cause. The rest of us watch them with complete disgust and are repulsed by their behavior. I mean, isn't it obvious such behavior is counter productive to any opinion? Protest isn't meant to be violent.

 

That ends with Trump in charge. In the future looters will be shot.
