Total BS. We've had almost 70 years of wink-wink enforcement of our immigration laws, through Democratic and Republican eras. The one constant is the appetite of American business for cheap labor. Trump? Time for him to walk the talk by seriously going after employers hiring illegals.
Common sense tells us the little girl did not die of neglegt in just 8 hours of US custody So do the investigation and then trow the adults in jail for child abuse
They know how to fight wars. So do the people down below. And they have lots of practice. Prove me wrong.
Where to start? Vietnam, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan - you reckon they were success stories? Your soldiers know how to fight wars, all I'm saying is it's a shame your top brass don't?
Oh it just warms my heart to see little children being introduced to guns..and just before Xmas too... God bless all those involved....
The brass is under the control of civilian politicians. They are at fault for any failings of the US military.
If the brass know the politicians have got it wrong, and the lives and limbs of the soldiers would be compromised, then they have a responsibility to those soldiers to refuse to carry out the politicians' orders. To mutiny in other words.
According to her father his daughter was well fed and hydrated when the Border Patrol found them. Emergency personnel discovered the girl was suffering from brain swelling and liver failure. The father's account his daughter was given plenty of food and water before being picked up by the BP does not seem plausible even if it is true the girl did not get water for 8 hours if she was well hydrated as her father claimed. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...ydrated-before-death-at-border-idUSKBN1OF017? EL PASO, Texas (Reuters) - A young Guatemalan girl who died after she and her father were detained by U.S. border agents was in no medical distress when they arrived and had received adequate food and water on their journey, relatives said on Saturday through representatives in Texas. According to CBP’s account, the girl and her father also had access to water and restrooms during the seven hours they waited to board a CBP bus that would take them early on Dec. 7 from Antelope Wells to another Border Patrol station at Lordsburg, about 95 miles (153 km) away. The CBP said Nery Caal told agents just before their bus departed that his daughter was vomiting, and by the time they arrived 90 minutes later she had stopped breathing. She was treated in Lordsburg by emergency personnel, then rushed to an El Paso hospital, where she died the next morning, Dec. 8, after doctors found she was suffering brain swelling and liver failure.
Europe would have taken much longer to recover. But what has that to do with your earlier false claim that "Besides, it is YOUR tax dollars that paid for Europe's health care via the Marshall Plan and continues to pay for Israel's health care". There's more than two decades between the two events.
The top brass can fight but it's the politicians who make the decisions, and they have nothing to do with the battlefield. Community Organizer, Barack Obama, is just one pathetic example. When Trump put the Generals in charge ISIS lost control and disappeared from the headlines.
No, liberals had a good reputation until they began a campaign against free speech and dividing Americans into groups who they then turned on each other.. Leftists have taken a good and decent term, like Liberal, and turned it into something altogether than what it once meant. Look at those who would call themselves liberal now and follow their actions against free speech, for example, or the banning oof Christmas songs. These people are not 'liberal'.
Then the Republic would have a solution far more disastrous than the problem. The electorate has to realize then when a country is at war you don't elect an inexperienced Community Organizer to lead the way.
WWIi was the last war where the “top brass” ran the war instead of the politicians And the micromanagement by politicians in washington got worse with each new war
This is very untrue, if you look at Obama's record on military actions and his efficiencies thereof. Outside of, Benghazi, which was not a war anyway. Obama showed as much confidence in the Joint Chiefs and Pentagon, as even President Eisenhower. Obama's Generals weakened ISIS then Trump, the business man, came along showing that he knew he'd better put Generals in charge to do what's necessary.
Sailed right over your head? The Obama Administration reversed course and relaxed enforcement that never at any level enough to put fear into employers hiring illegals.
