I am surprised that you are not suffering from a severe case of mental whiplash today!

Your expectations that Judge Sullivan was going to tear Mueller a new one were so exceptionally high and you were so locked into that imaginary outcome only to have the judge actually uphold justice and the rule of law must have caused massive cognitive dissonance.

My recommendation is that you take some time off to recuperate and regain your sense of perspective after this traumatic dose of hard factual reality.

You are certainly going to need some R&R because the odds are the rest of the Mueller investigation findings are going to be on the same devastating order of magnitude. The BLOTUS bubble is about to burst and anyone unprepared could end up in a state of shock.

Then again, the Daily Caller is insisting that the judge went on to say that he never accepts plea deals from people who are innocent and so not only will Flynn not be jailed but the judge will go on to exonerate him and destroy the Mueller investigation.

You are rapidly becoming my favourite right wing poster on this sight. A few days ago, when you convinced yourself the judge was going to free the criminal you seem to idolise, you were referring to the judge using his full name and title. Now that he has ruled against your criminal mate and made it clear just what a criminal he is, you revert to name calling. Even funnier, you act as if you know more about the law than a man who has been a judge since 1984.

It is like watching a five year old not get what he wants. Full tantrum mode. Loving it.

 

FOX laid all their cards on the table with a weak hand. Last week Judge Sullivan was a paragon of judicial virtue, wisdom, and fairness. Last week he was going to destroy the corrupt FBI and put Mueller in jail. FOX and friends were drooling in anticipation of Sullivan taking down the entire United States judicial system for railroading, threatening, coercing, and setting poor Flynn up like a sitting duck.

Today, their heads have collectively exploded. Judge Sullivan is a moron. Judge Sullivan didn't fully understand the situation. Judge Sullivan is over the hill. The White House doesn't agree Flynn wasn't intimidated and coerced into lying and pleading guilty. All of this was totally, irrevocably, and for all eternity exposed a a hoax perpetrated by Trump loyalists and their news outlet, FOX. The judge clearly had enough of FOX and its army of right wing conspiracy nuts attacking our judicial system. Six times he asked Flynn if he was coerced or set up in any way by the government and six times Flynn answered, no.

Shepherd Smith, one of FOX actual newsmen, took the Trumpites to task for their dimwitted conspiracy theories around this and other matters, Trump. It was delightful to see the dim bulbs at FOX running around in their drawers.

There was no fake Claim as to a Judge Admonishing Mueller and no the Russians didn't trick the Chicago Sun Times a Leftist Newspaper that reported the Judge Admonishing Muellers prosecutors in the Court.

The only reason the judge asked for the original 302 on Monday was because the RW was spinning up conspiracy theories all weekend. I don't think there has ever been so much BS spread on a guilty plea in history.

Well most politicos know who made the current appointment. Oh and Sullivan isn't the only Judge appointed by both sides of the aisle.

But then you wanted to deflect since Sullivan is tied to Clinton and because he has a thing for going after prosecutors. Especially when he challenges Demos. Leftists can't stand that fact.

Basically, very much so. I did not read or hear everything the judge said, so I'm not sure of "100%", but in general terms, yes.

That said, what Flynn did was (from my perspective as a tax-paying citizen only) basically common behavior in Washington DC. I've read Sibel Edmonds story, so I'm biased.

 

As subsequently noted, Sullivan had previously been appointed to the judiciary by Republican presidents Reagan and by Bush 41.

The judge requested additional documents to aid him in his sentencing from both the Trump Justice Department Special Counsel and from felon Flynn's attorneys.

Of course, his "admonishing" Mueller is hyper-partisan poopdoodle.

 

It will be interesting to see how this develops when Sullivan discovers how much evidence might have been withheld from Flynn's attorneys.

 

They had discovery months ago. That's why the 302's were never of any consequence.

 

For some hyper-partisans, his judgement concerning felon Flynn will determine whether Judge Sullivan is a jurist of impartial integrity or a villainous scoundrel.
