One doesn't need experience in a given industry to be a member of the board, but one does need experience in business, especially as a board member of other corporations, related or not, and have a good education.

It is quite common to get rich off high political relatives. Pelosi's Son was also on the board of directors of another Ukraine gas company. Her husband has benefited from her position in property for California's high speed rail. Biden's brother also profited with a board of director's job for a construction company who got a multi million dollar contract from the government just months after hiring him to build homes in Iraq. Many people in Washington got jobs because of Congressmen and Senators. Though most of them don't get filthy rich doing it.

 

Constitutionally the President's term of office always expires on January 21,. 4 years after he is elected. No exceptions. If Biden is truly fraudulent then the President succeeding Trump would be Nancy Pelosi.
