I guess you didn't know that nuclear weapons require a certain size and shape of a missile to carry them.

And nuclear weapons can be detected by residual low level radiation that they emit.

The size/shape issue is nonsense - as we are not likely to be making public displays... duh.

but, do tell us how close the detector needs to be .. and how all attempts at sheilding would be ineffective.

and still waiting for you to tell us how the last inspection by the Russian's went..

The U.S. and Russians no longer have on site inspections. Given the U.S. has advocated and agreed to them in past arms control agreements, I feel certain that the U.S. would be agreeable to a new arms control agreement that included on site inspections.

If you ever studied he topic you would know that.

LOL .. yes Dayton .. thats exactly the point .. there are no inspections .. your claim that the Russians would know if nukes are there refuted by your own words .. as is so often the case.

Now tell us how close one needs to be to source to detect a nuke .. and how sheilding doesn't work against Russian ability to detect nukes.

Hey, Bob, I don't care if they call it "UTOPIA"... just so long as nobody -- including Geriatric Joe -- confuses it with being some kind of '51st-state' that we must engage in yet another war over. This "Utopia's" president, Volodymyr Zelensky (a TV comedian, propped up by Ukrainian billionaire oligarch, Ihor Kolomoyskyi), seems anxious to gull the United States into deeper and deeper involvement (and expense) for Ukraine, but so far, it hasn't been shown how we have "a dog in that fight"....

Hey, if all we really want to do is put ICBM's a few minutes closer to the heart of Russia than they already are, we can easily do that from Poland, which would welcome us with open arms, along with our missiles, our new military bases, and our spending in Poland of many billions of dollars.... Or, we could just continue to have our nuclear submarines run 'picket' out in the Baltic Sea and use the billions we save toward something USEFUL for a change, like trying to pay-down our gigantic, swollen national debt!

Poor Daddy Vladdy, everyone is so mean to him.

Unidentified chemical components could be hand sanitizer.

Russia is preparing to invade the Ukraine, just like they did Georgia. They have plenty of tools trying to prep their excuse for them online.

I don't have quite the same low opinion of our intelligence agencies as you do, but I don't regard them nearly so highly as I once did prior to our Iraq/Afghanistan adventures, either... but I still say that it's obviously a good idea, always, to consider ALL information from ALL sources before making momentous decisions in which people's lives, years of commitment, and immense amounts of money are involved.

But I can't disagree with you on one thing -- that in 2002, the "W" Bush administration definitely wanted to take Saddam Hussein OUT, using any pretext that was handy... and so, they did. Worse, the Obama administration continued the whole developing, subsequent debacle... and worse than that, even Donald Trump kept on propping up the Iraq government, maintaining an American Embassy 'security force' of ~20,000 American military personnel and contract-mercenaries, and, the whole wretched mess in Afghanistan, too!

And what did we 'get' out of any of this that was of any use or benefit to the United States...? NOTHING.

    Now... next 'adventure', Ukraine...?

Expressing the desire to not get involved in another war does not mean one has to demean one of the countries involved. The U.S. already had an agreement with Ukraine which we and Russia broke and that causes instability elsewhere because it limits our ability to do any negotiation and, as a result, we'll have to go to war more often if a country does something against our interests. Since the U.S. is a country dependent on trade and we are not an autarky, isolation is not really an option for the foreseeable future.

As far as the budget, taxes need to be slowly raised and EIC, cut.

I've singled out this one point of yours because I don't think you realize that the immense amounts of money is from your tax pocket, not from the politicians who made the decision to spend it and who have no interest in being thrifty at all.

Who is this we you speak of? The MIlitary-Industrial Complex has already been mentioned but I don't really think you understand what it means and how it works. Simply put: Big business (such as the arms industry) and the politicians who "play ball" with them make gazillions from those momentous decisions. You need to think very deeply and earnestly if you want to understand what is going on, whose money is being spent, whose lives are being wasted, and who benefits from top-level corruption. I see that you haven't figured it out yet.

You would need to ask someone with vast amounts of technical knowledge of nuclear weapons or a physicist. But the fact that I'm neither one in no way makes my suggestion wrong.

While I don't deny this, do you have actual evidence of it or is it simply "something you've heard".?

its true .. the Military Industrial Complex exists .. Just as Big Eizenhower warned.. but the defense contractors/industry .. is just one holding of this multi headed Oligopoly that dictates foreign policy .. also knowns as "The Golden Goose" in our pay to play system ..which is now best characterized an "Oligopoly-Bureaucracy Fusion Monster"

He who has the Gold - makes the Rules in our Pay to Play system .. if you Play (along with the desire du jour) you get paid . and every high level bureaucrat in washington knows it -- same in the Educational system -- Military - and of course the Media.

There are many players.. attempting influence in one way or another .. but all are dwarfed by the one Massive Elephant in the Room .. and anyone who is anyone knows who they are :) .. Names Posted in Bright Lights for all to see.. Affectionately known by myself as the R$R consortia... Some of the Families are even Jewish - in case you didn't think this was an equal opportunity club

Case closed for you but not for the Russians whose experts have said that within a few hours they can be converted to carry nuclear weapons.

In the meantime, the idiocy Nato told the Russians is that they were meant for Iran in case it attacked. I wonder how dumb they'll think Putin is when the missiles start falling on their own heads.

    Here was Putn's response.

Who said your suggestion was wrong ? and just because you are not a Nuclear physicist .. does not mean the moon is made of green cheese :)

You a nukes could be detected .. tell us how close the detector must be -- and why the sheilding will not work -- and if you can't .. why on earth should we accept some claim you made up about something whicy, by your own admission, you know little to nothing about ?

Oh, and I'm supposed to believe the idiocy that missiles aimed at Russia are meant for Iran?
