I don't disagree, but I have no problem giving this woman her day in Congress. It was the right thing to do.

Every time I consider that all I can think of is a parody song covering Free Falling by Tom Petty

I could never listen to that song the same again.

It was all about party. The DP has always exploited black Americans to preserve the power of an unchecked white racist ruling class. Black Americans advanced very fast in the South during reconstruction and later in spite of the determined efforts to suppress their economic advance under Jim Crow. Their success was a threat to white privilege. Hence Tulsa. The principal political strategy of the DP has always been to effectively disenfranchise and suppress almost all black Americans. The RP's response since reconstruction has been indifference.

"The result has been that their educational opportunities have been curtailed rather than expand. Their right to work has been admitted but slowly and grudgingly among all but the lowest and worst paid occupations. And their right to accumulate property in cities is threatened today with serious curtailment." EDUCATION AND EMPOWERMENT, The Essential Writings of W.E.B. Du Bois, Randall Hansen Publishing Group, East Brunswick NJ, 2014. p.139.

Yes they were terrified of losing their white privilege. Had nothing to do with the group of blacks who gunned down 10 whites the night before. Really they just wanted to keep their privilege.

The white criminal mob opened fire first, while trying to deny the 2nd Amendment rights of those there to protect a man from being murdered. Not that racially motivated mass murder would have been in any way defendable even if your version of events were correct.

Bullshit the blacks fired first because a white guy tried to disarm one of them. And then multiple blacks opened fire on the entire group of whites which is how 10 white people ended up dead from rifle and shotgun wounds.

No unlawful act? They were there for the express purpose of committing murder. And again, he wasn't a rapist. He wasn't even accused of rape. He was accused of grabbing a woman's arm. A violent mob showed up to take away his rights and murder him. They then fired the first shots while trying to take away the 2nd Amendment rights of those who had showed up to stop the murder. And, by the way, before this the same racist mob tried robbing the National Guard armory.

They were there specifically to commit murder. The black people had every right to be armed. The 2A doesn't have a melanin exception.

Where do you even find this level of bull ****? The woman never accused him of rape. Didn't happen. And the group that you are playing make-believe were there because they were "just outraged" was there for a lynching. The other group showed up to stop the lynching.

George Wallace? He still ran for the White House after he was shot . . . the Democrats rejected him and he formed a 3rd party.

Defending a man who by US Law was innocent until proven guilty by confronting a murderous Lynch mob before they killed him seems is not only perfectly legal, but altruistic. Whatever ignorant racist who by your account “attempted to disarm a black man” is responsible for the initial riot. Your take on it is much the same as that of the ignorant, racist murderers who attempted to Lynch the man, started a riot with those who legally stop the murder and then came in force under cover of darkness and proceeded to rampage and murder innocents. Typical Trumpist new GOP thought process.

    1) She, not he.
    2) Both sides showed up armed. The white mob, there for the express purpose of committing murder, showed up first.
    3) No, she wasn't part of the group of black people who legally showed up to bear arms in order to prevent murder. She was part of the town that was later attacked by racist murders because she had the same skin color as those who had stopped them from their previous attempted murder.

The Democrats are the party of the segregationist, racist, and bigot..... Joe Biden. There are so many racists in the Democratic Party today and since the inception of the party that no one competes with them on bigotry.

And yet President Obama was the first African American president. The person elected after him decided to promote a conspiracy theory about him not being American. No offense but if you have ancient history I suggest you open up a newspaper to see what's happening now.

Not to mention the fact that the Trump White House didn't fire Miller after he was caught promoting white nationalist literature.

Honestly taking on Miller should have been enough of a red flag.

Armed rioters invaded an American neighborhood.
Armed American citizens defended their neighborhood.
That is the American Way. It works every time it is tried.

Survivors of the insurrection are trying to prevent the other survivors from telling their stories, today.

And survivors of the holocaust are still telling their stories, today.

And survivors of Hurricane Katrina will be telling their stories, however many years into the future you wanna go.

And some of the survivors of some catastrophe, 5000 years into the future, will still think "they did it too" is a rational adult argument. (Long before then, millennia perhaps, the tactic will have evolved to a point where we commonly refer to it as "they did whataboutism too! Waaaa!!")

Got anything to add to subject of the OP? <--- j/k

The person after him, President Trump, did more to help Black Americans than Barack Obama with:
    • The First Step Act
    • Opportunity Zones
    • Largest funding of Black Colleges and Universities
    • Record Black Employment and the first raise in standard of living in a long time

The President that did more for Blacks was the Republican... which tracks pretty close to history.

Bullshit. I suggest you educate yourself on the subject before you continue to speak.
