    I mean Im not a detective but...the fact that they wave commie flags, wear commie shirts, shout commie slogans, use commie tactics, and some come out and say it.

    The head of BLM did say it. There isn't really a "head" of the decentralized antifa though.

    I'm saying they look like military and in the absence of any qualifying insignia (and no a "police" patch doesn't cut it) any member of the public could be forgiven for thinking that that's what they are. We're not all uniform fetishists.

    That's reasonable doubt right off the bat.

    They are clearly marked as police, and have either names displayed or badge numbers.

    The switch to badge numbers was because the commies were doxxing their family members.

    It stands for Department of Homeland Security.

    The guys in the Camo don't have DHS on their combat fatigues.

    Do DHS have authority to beat and harass innocent protesters and, even if they do, is that what you want (or is it just OK as long as you call them "liberals")?

    Somewhere down the line, there's going to be a real investigation into this. Not one where people can ignore lawful subpoenas with impunity or assume they're going to get pardoned even if they admit guilt and are convicted.

    Like I said, William (lookaway) Barr won't be AG forever.

    They are going to have to prove that and I doubt, in many cases according to eye witnesses, they can.

    If they genuinely are police, then they need to identify their jurisdiction and if they arrest (or kidnap) me, they need to inform me who they are and if I believe they have abridged my constitutional rights how I can seek redress and where I can file a legal complaint.

    Otherwise they're just militia.

    How could Portland protesters be doxxing the family members of, ostensibly, military officers who aren't even personally identified?

    Seems like a stretch to me.

    That just sounds like a lazy and oft repeated meme.

    Many, if not most, protesting are just average Portlanders. They're not "commies" not even close.

    Well, no more than those calling them that are "fashies" so which is it?

    No it absolutely has not. That's how it may been drummed in within the Fox News bubble but that's not the legal standard by a long margin. The world outside's a lot bigger than that.

    Well, maybe it actually is the standard under William (lookaway) Barr but, like I said, he won't be AG forever.

    ....but maybe not for the protesters?
