    Were you in Russia in nineties? Putin doesn´t attack homosexuals for being gay, but for the social demoralization....Putin is increasing the Russia´s patriotic feeling .Even religious and moral values ​...On the contrary the EU lacks ideals, moral, value​, It´s not more than a band of cowards merchants sell everything by a few euros ... is what happens when you lose the values ​​so necessary in a society. Putin has restored morale to Russia...or Brussels or Washington will prevent Russia protect people in Ukraine ... respect for the integrity of Ukraine ... It's funny! ... the same respect US and EU showed for the Serbia one.Or is Brussels and Washington who decide which countries "must be respected" in its territorial integrity? :roll:

    The issue is simple: Some people want to enter EU and others want to follow Russia's side. The Ukrainian legitimate government decided to strengthen ties with Russia instead of entering the EU. A decision for which has every right if It is a legitimate government (and Yanukovych won the elections). The opposition should stop and wait for new democratic elections (only few months). But not,It was necessary to give a coup. Maybe because ultranationalist knew they would not win the election? So Western intelligence services decided to give a coup together a group of Nazis?

    Afghanistan, Geogea, Ukraina, all of the military action for Russia(or Soviet Union) are for changing regime or independence of the area.
    EU will have to reply for the Russian ambition.

    I don't understand something. How did a percentage of Ukrainians get past the Ukrainian military and drive the President from the country? This does not seem possible to me. Is it a military coup rather than a popular uprising?

    Just to play Devil's Advocate here what is the difference between this and Texas or California or Montana wanting to secede? What would we do if, after Kentucky legalizes marijuana a minority of armed rightists took to the streets. Peaceful or not, what would happen if they then turned violent?

    Conservative dogma notwithstanding, different ethnic groups CAN get along in the same country. The USA is still the most prosperous, powerful and, by far, overall successful country in the world and multiculturalism is our unique and defining characteristic and always has been.

    Or South Carolina? Or maybe Alabama?

    But It is not good paralelism with Ukraina or Krym... You can imagine Texas, for example... Texas leaves the Union and Imagine than in Texas, the "nationalist" gave a coup against governor, choosen by people in election... and the new goverment want to repress everybody speak in English... What would USA do?

    What is the context? Context matters. Harry wore a Nazi armband to a party. If this guy is wearing a uniform as part of a historical reenactment (which he was), then what is the issue?
