The man they were looking for was 8 inches taller and 55 pounds heavier. There is no ambiguity here.

No interest in trying to tie this to Ferguson. These aren't the same stories. Michael Brown was in fact the man reported by the convenience store owner. This girl was not the one reported to be the perp, and not only that, she bore no resemblance to the perp.

We do not know what she was doing or what the circumstances were.

There is nothing that says just because they are looking for one person they cannot run into another who they can arrest and who resists.

The facts and details are not all known which is what makes your reaction the same as many's reaction to ferguson.

Despite all of this and the story of this thread, there are those on the right who will tell you that "as long as you commit no crime and comply you'll be A okay".

 

What the hell? You just went way off the mark. Nobody said they can't arrest someone who resists.

If the story is true, this is a very clear case of mistaken identity. And as I said, this is nothing like Ferguson. That was not a case of mistaken identity.

You do not know all the facts and do not know what she did or if it was justified or not. The fact of her being the wrong person does not make the use of force bad.

Just how big is this policeman given him stating that a 7 & half stone girl sat on him and stopped him getting up while there were several other policemen helping him! And she sat on him again after he pushed her off! Only idiots must believe this cop's story

 

I'm okay with arrests if someone deserves it. Not sure if it was you or not but someone said earlier if you don't break the law, you don't have to worry.

This was a very clear cut case of police making a mistake. Like I said, I'm not agreeing with the racist angle here, just because she's black. The reality is she looked no more like the description of the suspect than I look like Tom Brady.
