Illegal immigration depends upon them having access to paid work. I want to cut that off. Yeah, we try to catch them at the border, but we make it really difficult to get paid employment. Someone has to end the game of using illegals for cheap labor.

"Borders" is about illegal immigrants. My comments have been about a national ID card to replace a lot of government cards. Everyone allowed to work here should have one. You can read it with a smartphone app and determine whether or not the individual holding it can work here.

We can cut down the number of people here illegally if they can't find work. Why run the border?

Are you serious? If we shut off the money, we make it far less likely someone will overstay a visa, or try to sneak across the border. It also makes it more likely they'll leave.
