I agree the Trump plan was probably a bad one. But, Biden's had roughly eight months to make it better...and apparently didn't. He must share the blame.

 

Letting the Taliban grab huge piles of weapons and armored vehicles certainly did not help.

 

At least with Trump's plan he could have turned it around if something went wrong, sent back troops and air support.
Biden didn't seem to do that.

I think the Taliban must have realized at some point the US wasn't going to come to the rescue. Then they fearlessly began advancing.

 

Trump, via the Doha agreement, led by a guy Team Trump helped get out of jail in Pakistan, left Biden with a short timeline and only 2500 military, they simply didn't have the resources to recover all the equipment, let alone all the people who wanted to leave without engaging with a surge, which would have been an all out war ( Taliban would have attacked if US violated the Doha agreement ).. What they did to is recover the strategic equipment, Jets, Missiles, etc. But, help is on the way for those left behind, Now a C-17 cargo planes are leaving by the hour to help the many who want to leave.

Biden did a terrible job. Get over it. 2500 would be able to go the airport and be able to control the crowd during departure and pick up a few who did not make it to the airport.

 

Just like the border Biden could have done something different.

 

The Taliban made clear it would launch a military campaign if the US did not keep Trump's May 1 deadline for withdrawal.
U.S. force levels — about 2,500 at the time after Generalissimo Trump ordered the withdrawal of about 80% of our forces — were insufficient to deter or withstand that assault, meaning Biden was choosing not between staying and going, but between going and sending more troops.

 

The Trump-Taliban plan called for our withdrawal by May 1st. When Trump left office, we only had 2500 troops left in country. Biden's already sent more troops back to supervise the final withdrawal, now scheduled to be complete by August 31st...ten days before Biden';s scheduled withdrawal of September 11th.

 

You know squat.
