No, not all tractors have a 'cabin'.

Strawman much? I said no such thing, but exaggeration seems to be the thing for those who disagree on the subject.

In humor, it's not near a shower, it's in the shower. :)

I did say 'most', not 'all'. I admit I am not an expert in the area of farm equipment.

So you would find it too difficult to take one gun with you wherever you go?
Are you afraid of bears when you are in the shower? Or someone in your house when you are going shopping?
Utter madness. But those politicians who are slipped à few thousand dollars à year by the NRA are eternally grateful, as is the NRA who can direct their votes.
    And this is called democracy.
If I were à US politician I would sell myself on the platform that supports protecting Jewish people by using guns. Then accept support from both AIPAC and the NRA.
I could retiré happily on a pile of gold after ten years of faithful service to their interests.

It has more to do with Bidenflation being so high people have cut back on discretionary spending. When your food and energy bills are sky high then you need to pay that and housing first.

This is good news, but lets not pretend that the left is not trying to take our guns. I live in California and they are absolutely taking our guns.

    1. CA roster takes 3 guns from the list for every 1 added. Do the math. Please explain how this makes us safer.
    2. The "Assault weapons ban" forced people to register certain firearms based on appearance. Once registered, they cannot be sold or transferred. That means my kids could not inherit them. So what happens when I pass?
    3. The Gun Restraining Order law allows law enforcement to TAKE GUNS away without due process based on hearsay.
    4. Here in Los Angeles, CCWs were not issued to ordinary citizens. While they did not physically take guns away, they did take the right to carry, so only cops and criminals carried guns here. There has been a ruling in our favor since.
    5. Open carry is illegal in CA. While they did not physically take guns away, they did take away the right to bear arms.

Dems will erode the second amendment to the extent their power allows.

Gun sales spiked with the recent riots. Even liberals were buying guns. (Thats why I stopped going to the range. It wasn't safe anymore!)

Now that everyone who wants a gun has one, sales will dip. When guns sales were peaking, I had to make a reservation at the gun store, and wait several months for delivery.

Now that I can get a CCW here in L.A., I just bought a compact .357.

I make my own. I even reload 45-70 with black powder for my Trapdoor Springfield. I stockpiled primers before the rush.

Sudden spikes and slumps in sales like this simply reflect the fact that the firearms market in the US is more or less fully saturated and as a result demand curve is fairly steep (& takes a lot to change). Which is evidenced by the fact it often takes some kind of scare campaign (they're going to take our guns way/war is coming etc!) to get a spike in demand for new firearms. Which then causes a long 'tail' period during which sales slump indicating that in reality all such scares really do (for the most part) is bring forward future purchases.

All of which means that the US domestic firearm market is very hard to make a profit in these days - as witnessed by the various bankruptcies and low profit forecasts. Basically its a victim of it's own success.

as a professional level shooter who constantly talks to people in the business, one of the drags on gun sales is the cost and scarcity of ammunition. The places where I buy most of my reloading supplies have -in the last two years-exactly one shipment of small pistol primers: the last time they had any in stock was last summer. I shoot in two or three (depending on my schedule) "steel leagues" and the number of people has declined even though 9mm ammo is more readily available than it was in the summers of 2020 and 2021-albeit at higher prices (pre-covid-1000 rounds of good quality 9mm as 165, now its close to 300). 22 is also far more easier to obtain-but again at higher prices.

Five of my seven tractors have cabs. The two without cabs don’t see much use. Shooting predators like coyotes and feral dogs or pests like prairie dogs from tractors is not uncommon. I always have at least a pistol and often both a pistol and rifle in any tractor I’m using. Doing so has saved me a lot of money and saved many lives of domesticated livestock through the years.

Here’s a thread about how having a firearm in a tractor paid off just recently.

Yeah, we successfully did that in Australia. You have the 'right' to own a semi-auto but like any other right, but you aren't going to just walk into a gun shop and buy one.
It shows - we don't have the gun toll America does.

and I don't give a damn about a country that doesn't trust its citizens to have the same firearms that they arm their police with. This is about the USA.

You should 'give a dam' because nations can learn from one another.
And no, it's not that the 'government' trusts its citizens - it's our citizens who don't trust our citizens.

You can't be carrying a gun with you in your home. You might be in the kitchen when another gunman breaks in so there has to be a kitchen gun, and a dining room gun, and a gunin your car, your brief case or carry bag etc..You see - guns give you security. A nation with a billion guns will feel more secure than one with a million guns, and there will be a lot more than the usual 110,000 thousand people shot each year, as in America.

Well, now the opposite is happening hence the thread. Last time there was a massive spike in demand was when Trump was in office and the nation sank in to a very dark place.

That's cool, and I would probably carry too if lived in rural areas, which might actually happen one day.

Some people expect change without actually changing anything. They think praying will cause the change hence the popular saying "thoughts and prayers".

as long as the right people get shot it’s not a problem. Also, those numbers don’t really say anything, they just blow up a figure for people to rally their feelings around. Most of those are suicide. You’re more likely to be struck by lightening than shot in some random encounter. Perspective.
