JS has thoroughly disjointed this thread. Obviously (D)'s aren't ashamed at all. 3 more weeks wading through liberal premonitions? Good grief. The 1st week of Oct. is behind us. The only thing that would surprise me in the next 3 weeks would be (D)'s like dirty DiFi not having their records, if not themselves subpoenaed at the very least.

Well, the GOP didn’t do the same thing. They decided to ditch the process and not engage in a dog and pony show. They said we are voting no on Garland, the end. We are not changing our minds, we are not wasting time and money on a hearing, we are voting no!

That being said, I think Garland would have made a good Justice.

Here are my reservations regarding Professor Ford. Why didn’t any of her witnesses support her? The polygraph story is suspect based on the letter from the ex and her attorneys not releasing her polygraph. We have no idea what they asked her. (State your name, what day is it, are you married, etc., get the picture?) The front door story proved to be false. It was a private entrance for a rental space the Fords added during a renovation project. She got a ride home from alleged party. No one stepped forward to say they drove her to or from alleged party. The biggest and most glaring part of this for me is her family. Where are they? The letters of support submitted by family members were from the Fords. Her family is in the area so....? Her brothers are attorneys yet not a word. Why wouldn’t you come to the defense, professionally or as a sibling, of your sister? I find that very curious. The only thing her dad has said according to the Washington Examiner is, “ I think all of the Blasey family would support her. I think her record stands for it self. Her schooling, her jobs and so on. I think any father would have love for his daughter .” Very generic for me. Notice the use of the word WOULD support not DO support.

Now, MY theory. I think professor Ford was assaulted by one of her family members. If I recall, during part of her testimony, she claimed the boys seemed to be roughhousing on the bed. That would be typical behavior of boys but more so for brothers. No one in her family is supporting her allegations and the only words from her father are very superficial. Not the words of a parent defending the honor of their daughter but words of a general nature. Why wouldn’t any of them sign the letter attesting to her integrity and honesty? I think the Blasey’s are hiding something.

PI is being disingenuous, of course, or he has not read all of the posts. It was explained above to him and others that hundreds of investigative journalists and others are now investigating ALL of the witnesses and leads that will lead to a full disclosure of Kavanaugh's foul behavior.

Personal attacks on others is a shoddy behavior to shy away from.

PI continues attacking me because he can't handle the idea of me pointing out investigative journalists and others (hundreds of them) are sleuthing out the story Kavanaugh and his sexual illness.

JS is being ignored because he's sorta annoying ... JS has bought into the latest self serving hype "7 new witnesses" who now say Ford told them she was groped. Doesn't make a bit of difference, and only points to 7 more cases of witness tampering JS. The FBI knows who's guilty of what JS.

Swearing to what? That they never saw K sexually abuse anyone. Heck, I'll sweat to that!

But keep that kettle on the boil. Dems are hoping the anger of the American people at their disgusting performance will cool by Nov.

    Don't let that happen!

Anyone can read the page and know that PI can't ignore me. So he will call in backup, Pycckia, for instance, and others to tell us such and such did not happen to which they can't swear and to which they were not there themselves.

I am in your head, PI. :roflol::roflol::roflol:

Lame really lame. And untruthful for that matter. As far as fragile. who the hell wouldn't be watching people trying to destroy his or her entire life's work through the use of fabrications? People have been shot for a hell of a lot less than what the dems tried to do to him.

PI doesn't need back up, when the facts don't add up, to the sum of the phony narratives being spread by useful idiots.

Yes, you are, because it is true. Trump tells people about what can be done to women, and K is a drunk.

The coming investigative journalism in the next four weeks will not be fabrications.

Here are the facts. Republicans had more to do with dragging this thing out.

Here is another fact. Kavanaugh would have NEVER made it to the court if he had not assured Collins that Roe v Wade was decided law. Let that marrinade... Roe v Wade is the law of the land and Kavanaugh will not vote to over turn abortion rights.

Kavanaugh should have been a slam-dunk. A sure thing ...and yet Democrats by the slimmest of votes just about blocked the appointment.

So before you go off half-cocked on your victory lap...Trump supporters need to take a real close look at how many times...and in how many important votes Trump has lost.

    Bigly

TexMexChef's theory of Collins and Kavanaugh and RvW as settled law of the land makes a lot of sense.

Republicans came off as dotting old white men using an inquisition to convict the victim as a hysteric. The cover they invented to avoid such an appearance was to hire a prosecutor to grill the victim. It only took a few minutes for the Geritol to kick in and unleash the pent up righteous indignation of the old timers. Lindsey Graham's explosive outburst woke up the inquisitor's and inspired them to attack Dr. Ford as a liar.

The Dems began by lobbing in Dr. Graham into the fray as a well timed bomb toss to scotch, or at least delay, the nomination process. Their goal was obvious at the outset, keep Kavanaugh off the Supreme Court by digging in the mud for any gold nugget they might find there. The result is that they made both Ford and Kavanaugh look like victims of a vile political game of gotcha.' The end result of this tragedy was predictable.

Kavanaugh will undoubtedly be confirmed, much to Republican's delight at putting a conservative on the bench. The problem is that by most measures, as outlined so brilliantly by Senator Susan Collins, Kavanaugh is not the conservative they hoped for. He is a moderate with conservative instincts. Like Roberts, he loves the law. That to rational thinkers is just fine.

Should Democrats continue to beat on this all the way to election, it would be better if they put a gun to their heads right now. Voters have had more than enough of this R rated drama. Time to move on. So what's the upshot of all this?

The GOP got the guy they wanted on the court and all is well. Mission accomplished. May as well take a well deserved rest and pass on November. Thank's to Trump's affliction of constipation of the brain and diarrhea of the mouth along with the old men of the GOP, the women votes they will get are from well managed dutiful wives and ideological drunks.

On the blue side of the isle, women's already hot anger became volcanic. They will show up in November if they have to crawl to the polls. Independents will be there too and they will undoubtedly vote Democratic, as will most young voters. So will Hispanics and minorities. The stars have fallen out of the sky for the GOP.

I love your they get a lot of mail and had trouble sorting through it line. Slick Willie would love to be able to come up with such an interesting but plausible lie. She said she had it in July I believe, I am guessing they did not look at it and throw it back into the pile.

    What the left want....

Question.. What happens when a woman accuses a man of sexual assault/harassment/rape.

    Answer...
    (A) If the man is a known conservative - believe the woman. Period. No questions, no evidence needed... he is GUILTY.
    (B) If the man is a known liberal - quietly ignore the situation. Don't talk about it, just move on...if cornered by conservatives about it - point out how conservatives support rapist and hate women.
