Any democrats ashamed of how the Kavanaugh thing was handled?

I haven't seen anything indicating it was hand delivered but even if that were the case how would that mean it was read right away?

Fine. Shes a a victim if she says so. But without any evidence I don’t need to beleive her. I don’t beleive people who implant fangs and get facial reconstruction surgery are actually cats. They can say whatever they want.

If her story was more credible, she had witnesses and the timing wasn’t so perfect I would beleive her.

 

I think the correct term would be accused sexual assailant. Not only was the accusation not corroborated, it was proven false by the people named by the accuser. The good guys are winning so far.

 

What strawman? Those were facts. Are you okay with accusing innocent people of being a gang rapist simply because you don't have the votes. That's pretty disgusting and goes well beyond politics.

 

You don't need to believe her even with evidence. But rational human beings do. And this is why they refused to allow the FBI to perform a proper investigation.

Fortunately you are not an investigator. So we don't have to care what you believe. Many many people have been sent to jail for committing crimes in which there were no witnesses. All that was needed was a proper investigation.

Heck! Trump even instructed you not to believe what you see and hear. So even if there were witnesses, you just wouldn't believe them either.

 

First, the good guys don't separate children from their families. Second it was not proven false by the people named by the accuseer. That was a lie that Kavanaugh told under oath. And if you lie about one thing, you are very likely to be lying about everything. A legal principle known as " Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus". Which may not prove his guilt in a court of laugh. But it certainly does prove it in a confirmation hearing.

One thing that I found extremely irritating is that the Ford took attention away from the question of whether or not Kavanaugh is qualified on the basis of his record/ previous decisions, politics agenda and so on.

The second issue that did not get any air time was the question of whether the bar should be 50 votes or 60 votes.

Instead the nation was focused on the unproven accusations relating to the actions of a kid 35 years ago and getting drunk in college.

My take on the college drinking is that if someone did not get drunk in college at least a few times - they are not qualified to be a Supreme Court Justice.
