Bob Corker Says Trump's Recklessness Threatens 'World War III'

WASHINGTON Senator Bob Corker, the Republican chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, charged in an interview on Sunday that President Trump was treating his office like a reality show, with reckless threats toward other countries that could set the nation on the path to World War III.

In an extraordinary rebuke of a president of his own party, Mr. Corker said he was alarmed about a president who acts like hes doing The Apprentice or something.

He concerns me, Mr. Corker added. He would have to concern anyone who cares about our nation.

Mr. Trump poses such an acute risk, the senator said, that a coterie of senior administration officials must protect him from his own instincts. I know for a fact that every single day at the White House, its a situation of trying to contain him, Mr. Corker said in a telephone interview.

No, Democrats lost their campaign for WWIII with the defeat of Hilary Clinton, who repeatedly promised to go to WW3 against Russia.

In my opinion, this is why the intelligence community including Comey blew Clinton out of the water. The election was hacked. It was hacked by the intelligence community - with WIKI leaks documents proving they do so to make it look like Russia did it - to stop Hilary Clinton having the power to carry our her promise to order the USA military to directly attack the Russian military over Syria.

After eliminating Clinton, they then used their own hacking to prevent Trump establishing detente' with Russia to protect their jobs, power and money. The intelligence community (nor any other sane person) wants a nuclear war with Russia. The intelligence community does NOT want a HOT war with Russia, but do want the 70+ year old COLD war with Russia to last forever.

 

Coker is a bitter old malcontent soon-to-be irrelevant has-been.

Corker said that he was intent on allowing himself to transition to his private life again. Obviously, that not includes some hyperbolic stupidity along the way. Folks in TN aren't going to put up with this. I'd look for Gov Haslam to approve a recall soon.

What is happening is that there is a huge backlash coming from some of our closest allies (such as France and Germany) in relation to Trump threatening sanctions to Iran and scrapping of the nuke deal.

 

I do not know what mattis is saying or what his reasoning is

And Mattis has said on multiple occasions that the deal is working and that Iran is living up to their side of it. He believes the deal should be maintained and not scrapped unilaterally like Der Fuhrer wants to do.

 

The thing that will be remembered in history is how stupid the argument's coming from Republicans were in relation to the Iran deal.

The whole "Obama made a bad deal" nonsense is just that. It is a false narrative. There was no "deal" for Obama to make.

There were 6 nations at the table - Russia, China, France, Britain, Germany, USA. All of the other nations were for the deal.

The reasons the sanctions were effective is because all of the above nations were enforcing those sanctions. The sanctions are not worth much the above nations do not go along. Piss Russia and China off enough and they can just give Iran nukes.

How then is this "Obama's deal" ? What was Obama supposed to do .. give the above nations the finger and go it alone ? Do you have any clue what the ramifications would be ... any clue at all ? Have you even considered what they might be ?

If you don't know what the ramifications would be ... how the heck can you comment on how History will remember Corker ?
