George Zimmerman..... Latino when he voted democrat, Latino if he needed welfare, Latino if he needed a scholarship.... but the second he shot a black man he was suddenly labeled "white".




(hate to type that name out, there is a group here who constantly search for that name so they can come tell us how horrible he is).

 

I think this will change, and the white conservatives of this country might be attracted to the idea of separating the country so they can get a government they actually want and represents them, as opposed to some mulatto dictator.

Most of these far right wing conservatives/white nationalists dolts are usually completely inept losers who couldn't even run a lemonade stand, let alone any "society". So because of that, they wouldn't be able to start any type of right wing Aryan utopia, because it would become a hell hole within about a week. And without EVIL ethnic minorities to blame their problems on, they may have to look in the mirror and realize the problem is with themselves.

 

Considering there isn't a week that goes by where there isn't numerous "bad black/Hispanic people" threads, which are almost always never deleted, I think this thread should stand. And this thread isn't racist, it's addressing a particular problem that could cause the GOP to become completely irrelevant in the future.

They way the democrats treat blacks in their party, and take the black vote for granted, they won't be holding on to them forever. Once republicans start getting 20, 30, 40, 50 percent of the black vote, there won't be much the democrats can win. One in three Hispanics vote republican. In Texas, the GOP got 43% of the Hispanic vote for governor.

The GOP just won a major landslide victory in which we elected blacks, Hispanic and Asian republicans to congress, the Senate, and governors. The GOP landslide gave us more representatives in the house than we have had since 1928. We won major victories in state wide offices across the country. The GOP has control of 68 of the 98 state houses. The GOP has control of both state house in 31 states, the democrat have control of both houses in only 11. The republicans have 31 governors and the democrats 17. For some reason, you seem to think that the Republican Party is on the verge of becoming completely irrelevant? What planet are you on? George Wallace was a liberal democrat racist segregationist. The democrats nearly nominated him for president in 1972 but he got shot after winning 6 democrat primaries. He and his policies have nothing to do with republicans. Democrats need to stop acting as if their poo belongs to the GOP. It's that type of race baiting and playing of the race card that is losing elections for democrats.

 

The GOP's general views to monorities in America have changed precisely because of the large minority following the democrats have enjoyed. Are they all brain-washed and have not seen the fair and just side of Republican's for so long? Did they mistake tough love and firm principles for disdain, arrogance, and cultural elitism? I doubt it.

The reason most minorities, womans, gay people, and that like have flocked to the democrat vote is because it was pretty clear if not spoken for all in such direct terms that the Republican's do not favor these individuals. The only ones who listen to this white-washing garbage are other Republicans who care about it. From my viewpoint, it's clear that each party shamelessly panders to the exaggerated image of their bases- past and present. The butt-kicking that the Republicans received in the last six years is what is making them open their doors and where all this appeal-to-the-minority arguments are coming from- such as the "we were with you all along, it was those evil Democrats" revision...which is half true. The Democrats aren't really much better...

Sorry, mate. I can't read something you wrote and accept that as fact. It is a collage of points you gathered reinforcing your opinion.

But, in genera, there were some points that I agreed with, like the Democrats are not the Party of the poor. Neither party is. And the fact that Republican's did elect the first black governemnt officials, but this was more than a century ago and the Republican party and the Democrat party no longer stand for those things that they stood for once.

For instance...those Southern Democrats that were the instigators of the Klu Klux Klan...were Democrats and democrats were largely the Southern Party. However, most southerners are now Republicans, and the current clan memebers consider themselves traditionalist conservatives.

As far as racism goes, that one is fairly easy to debunk. I have never...ever...seen a democrat skew other races as I have Republicans. Not the politicians, officially. It would be stupid to use such language, but the Republican base...I have a hard time believing that most of the people that call Black peoples- whether in or outside the US- n****rs, apes, goons, thugs, savages, terrorists, etc- are mostly Democrats.

I understand your argument and if someone thinks the democrat party is the morally superior of the two, they need their bolts tightened. However, I think this is coming from an equally disturbing and fairly new attempt by the republicans to remake their image. Both parties use race and neither party is people-oriented. They tend to destroy or co-op people oriented political groups like the Tea Party, which was, in my opinion, a more organized and more formidable version of Occupy Wallstreet. Both of them were either co-opted or smeared to the point of impotence.

Republicans have always had civil rights in their platform. Every republican president has signed some form of civil rights legislation since Eisenhower. You would know this fact and many more if you bothered to read the threads.

The only people I ever hear (or see on social media) are liberals, who naturally think that because they are black or a white liberal, they are allowed because they are not prejudice.

I would disagree with the blanket equivocations on your summation, but the GOP leadership ideology is not far from the liberals in the democrat party.
The Tea Party is more of a liberal/libertarian movement, the Occupy Wallstreet is a socialist/anarchist movement. They are not simular in anyway.

 

In the next 30 years I guess we'll be a multicultural society with no one racial group making up the majority. Is this correct? Is there any other country in the world with a similar racial make-up as this?
