I don't dismiss the "exerpt" entirely ... Donna Braziles "tell all" book on the DNC, could be what Bannon is going for with this one. Like it matters anyway ... Bannons musings are inconsequential.
I recommend an alternating cold/hot wrap for all the soreness trump apologists are going to feel after all of the mental gymnastics going on here. Watching alt right degenerates do cartwheels in here is nothing short of amusing. If David Axelrod had come out with such things about the Obama administration you cowards would believe it without hesitation.
Nationalism is trash and the enemy of working people. Nations are used to divide the working class and don't represent the authentic experiences of a country's citizenry. People are more united by the shared experience of being working people than they are united by the brand of nationalism that lays claim to the land they live on. Bannon comes off like an "FDR progressive" if you have absolutely no understanding of the history of third positionism and how it relates to the old categories of left and right, or how the terms left and right came to be. Fascism has always flirted with some surprisingly moderate ideas on the economy despite aligning itself with the far-right culturally and nothing is going to come of the russian collusion story. i honestly think trump is too stupid to collude with anyone
Rubbish. Economic nationalism is what every nation on earth does....and always have. Why? For the same reason that a decent person puts his family first, and feeds them first before he feeds someone else. Economic nationalism is just national decency, on behalf of your own citizens. The only people who want slave labor globalism are the nuts, and the elites who profit greater by this scheme.
Okay, whatever, but I don't think you understand that what I'm asserting is that "nations" are not real.
Hell, Bannon supposedly said that Mueller will use money laundering of people in trumps family to f**k trump. So, a distraction? Does not look that way to me. It looks like Bannon has become disillusioned with pres. trump. As he should be given his departure from what he campaigned on, which won him the election in the first place.
You can have that idea for as long as you find it attractive. But it is not the reality in which we live. And until human nature evolves, your assertion is little more than fantasy, fanciful thinking. Nations were created for a reason, and not some deep, dark reason either. One thing that man has demanded, and which you seem to have no use for in your naive state of mind, is order. Order. Legal order. Social order. An order of daily existence. And the nation state has provided that order when it worked. To toss that out in favor of a nice, thoughtful idea is, well, naive, and a detachment from the reality in which you actually live.
All I know is that pretty much everything CNN publishes turns out to be completely wrong. Maybe the book will tell us where Trump hid the bust of MLK too.
So you read everything I said in the above posts and can't understand any of it. We've been through this. I eagerly await your next in-depth analysis of how Trump is a meanie and hurts your feelings.
Hillary is not perfect but yes, and I would be voting for her not Bill so leave that argument alone already I dont really care what happens to Bill. Hes a sexual predator just like Trump except you guys can't sack up and admit that.
What is easy is having nothing to say while making posts that are little more than picking your nose. Your input is always riveting. One word of advice: before using the term "strawman", you should learn what that means.
And yet another straw.......man with a touch more of ad hominem. So easy to expose lack of credibility and lack of debate ability. Now off you go to FAUX to get some talking points and debate/distract the OP thread topic.
Trump Unloads On Steve Bannon In Blistering Statement (Full statement) Read Trump’s full statement: Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating seventeen candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party. Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look. Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country. Yet Steve had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans. Steve doesn’t represent my base—he’s only in it for himself. Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was. It is the only thing he does well. Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony books. We have many great Republican members of Congress and candidates who are very supportive of the Make America Great Again agenda. Like me, they love the United States of America and are helping to finally take our country back and build it up, rather than simply seeking to burn it all down. http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/trump-attacks-steve-bannon-book-excerpt
I already debated it with someone who actually had something to say. I'll let you get back to clearing your nostrils.
Nobody cares what you thought. I was laughing at you claiming not to hate the guy occupying the open floor plan apartment in your head without paying you rent.
By the time the dust settled in the WH, if it ever did, Bannon was the only one there who believed in what trump run on and won on. Trump let bannon down. And that means he will let his supporters down too, unless you are talking about the few in his personality cult.
