I'm familiar with the discourse around the state of nature. Hobbesians argue that the state of nature is violent, bloody, and chaotic, and that the state arises as a result of a sovereign imposing order upon the state of nature and creating civil society. The problem with this is that the state of nature is not violent, bloody, and chaotic. Artifacts are constantly being recovered from early peoples, nomadic and settled, that reveal that people living together in an area and getting along well enough to live as a unit is far, far older than the conception of the nation state.

 

Just as Reagan was elected to wipe the disaster of Jimmy Carter, Trump was sent to wipe the mistake of Obama.

His second term landslide will show you that.

I read his direct quote, which you re-posted. He clearly stated that in his opinion, the meeting was treasonous. He allowed that others might think it was not, and his main point was that Donnie Jr. should have called the FBI immediately.

I was never confused on this. I didn't ask you to simply parrot what was written. My question to you is where is the treason in simply accepting a meeting? It may have been ill advised and naive, but treason is a serious charge. You must have more information beyond a speculative partisan rant if you're going to carry that torch. Please share.....
