After describing the typical immigrants that arrived at ports like Ellis Island, he went on to discuss slavery saying "there were OTHER immigrants who came here on the bottom of slave ships". He clearly indicated that

So according to those who are trying to defend this ass clown's comments, the slaves bought tickets to America willingly they just chose to ride in the holes of ships chained up instead of purchasing a nice cabin up top. They left Africa with the dream of coming to America and making a better way for their children and grandchildren.
