There are loads of abandoned shale oil fields that have been left to contaminate land and underground water supplies. Nothing is stopping anyone redrilling these abandoned fields. Shale oil is a failed strategy

"Energy independent" doesn't mean we don't import oil at all. It means we EXPORT more than we IMPORT.

The war is in Ukraine, a free and independent nation that is being attacked by Russia. The war is not IN Russia. No one wants to bomb Russia. The goal is just to get Russian forces out of Ukraine.

We already have troops in Ukraine. Elements of the 52d (Infantry) Brigade Combat Team have been in Ukraine since November, augmenting training teams sent there earlier to train Ukrainians how to use the JAVELIN anti-tank systems we sent them. (JAVELIN is an amazing weapon... really allows Infantry to counter tanks). There are rumors about where our folks actually are right now... I'm sure we'll find out.
